£569 if you have an Amex card.

I’m certain this has been posted many times already.

this one seems cheaper than all other posts

Just been given one of these for work. It's really good. Loads better than a laptop.

Quidco have 8% cashback on Surface purchase too - would be a further £47.92 off.

Looks like it doesn't include the pen

Not so good for the guys who get the £30 off for using Amex at Microsoft.

Just bought one the other day , very nice.

6% quidco - £39

Rapid delivery.

Yeah this was posted last week, the exact same offer, price etc. It expired for some reason despite the offer still being on (not long to go now though).

I've bought one, waiting for delivery. I use one at work and the screen is the best I've ever used for it's size. Core m3 is fine for what I'll use it for, work one is the i5 so it'll be interesting to see how much difference that makes

I would be very interested in that comparison. Using the i5 version for work makes the comparison real world for me.
Hope you'll post something on here.

How good is the processor on this?

How does this compare to a 2010 i5 Mac Mini?

I know they’re two different systems, machines OSs. Just thinking about overhauling my whole setup.

Would this be able to play the latest version of Football Manager?

I really wanted a hybrid for ages and eventually saved up for a surface pro. It was THE WORST purchase I’ve ever had the displeasure of buying. The fan kicks in almost immediately, it then burns your legs and proceeds to automatically shut down for ages following a warning thermometers symbol. I would advise others not to take this gamble. I look online and it seemed it was just a given problem with them. I’ll never buy from them again

It's OK. Mostly designed for efficiency and office tasks but it can run older games and even stuff like GTA 5 and Fallout 4.

Yes we were treated like beta testers with the surface book. It should never have gone to market in its original state. And don’t get me started on the dock.

Should do but the loading times may be a little slow. Those games are basically a database so the computer has to do a lot of number crunching.

The core M model doesn’t have a fan. I had one and I now have a i5 one and honestly I can hardly tell the difference processor wise

I have a Surface Pro 3 with an i5 processor (i avoided the i& because lots of people were complaining of overheating problems), this is about equivalent performance wise but without a fan should have better battery life.
I use mine mainly for Word, Excel, Onenote and emails so nothing massively demanding. It's fast and the microSd slot (combined with Win10 Pro so you can use Bitlocker to protect the files on the SD) means it has plenty of storage.
Mine's 2 years old and I have never regretted swapping my relatively bulky 13" laptop for the Surface Pro. I wouldn't mind a better battery life though.

It looked good until I saw that it's only got 4GB Ram, which isn't upgradeable. That's not very generous for a new machine, which generally would be at least double that. As the Ram can't be upgraded, thoughts are that this offer may be best avoided.

Whether it's enough RAM is down to personal usage. What exactly are you doing on a tablet that uses up all 4GB?

Balls, I ordered mine a couple of days ago, just ordered another. If you get the pen, quidco tracks at £44. I ordered the original from TCB but it never tracked The machine is really light (weight wise). The keyboard is really nice compared to the early surface pro's. Can't fault, would like more ram and HD but for light work, web etc, it's ideal. Lighter than my ipad air 2! Pen is expensive. Not really needed as the keyboard and trackpad are so good.

Pen is included with this model as standard I think.

no, it's another £99 but half the cost (almost) is covered by the cashback (just over £46 this time)

Not sure if it's legitimately a £324 saving. The RRP at Currys is £724: currys.co.uk/gbu….ds

I'd be wary with a surface and buying from Microsoft. My surface pro 4 battery stopped charging after 18 months so essentially it is now a desktop. Microsoft offer only 12 months warranty after which a battery replacement could cost hundreds. Luckly I bought mine from Amazon who offered a full refund, but with most other retailers I would have been stuck with it

My MacBook late 2008 is on it's way out.Is this any good for like everyday use
Internet
word
some photoshop
