I just received mine and I'm amazed at the build quality of this thing.
The only cravat is it's Slovak layout however it's still marked as QWERTY and works as one. The only thing I've found to be missing is the £ sign

The blurb;
The Wedge mobile keyboard is an ideal balance between form and function. It has a minimalist design, yet incorporates a large-sized keyset, Windows 8 hotkeys and cover that converts into a tablet stand so you can get more done in more places.

Box Contains
Microsoft Wedge Keyboard
Dual purpose cover
Batteries included

Edit: price changed from £4.99 to £5.99

If it's missing the £ sign .... how did you type £4.99 in the description ???
HUKD strikes again. I had no idea that I would wake up this morning and buy a Portuguese keyboard.
Its not a few quid... Amazon are selling the UK one for £49.99!

Run charmap.exe 😁
What a stonking deal.
Love the alternate Z/Y and Y/Z keys, high usage of these letters in Slovakia I'm guessing! Can't you just hit shift+3 key on a pc with English UK language set in Windows anyway with this keyboard? Should work

Someone bought 7! I thought my 4 would win the day.

I think I am about to do the same.
I'm thinking the Hebrew one... only another 40p but looks less confusing!

If I set the PC settings as a UK keyboard, will it behave the way that I expect?

Why in the name of god you buy a different lay out keybaord to save a few quid?

Youll just become frustrated with all the typos youll start making.

Hot but not for me ski
What's so good about this keyboard in the first place? Other than the massive price saving?

Hebrew or Portugese looks like a slightly better keyboard layout with a tiny bit higher price.

Portuguese version has the £ sign

Looking at the keyboards, I would go for the Portuguese one out of all those this seller has.
I assume I'll need a Bluetooth 'dongle' or similar to connect this to a desktop PC, as "Box contains" doesn't mention one?
Great price though - heat added

Cravats always ruin everything.

£2 or so.
Damn it, hukd strikes again.
Most Tablets are Bluetooth enabled. So an external "Dongle" is not required! Like most phones dont not need a dongle as they already have bluetooth build in.

Don't think I'd buy one of these for interacting with a desktop; they're absolute bare bones when it comes to functionality, intended for mobile/tablet use.
Though I suppose it'd be workable for controlling an htpc from the couch.

Thanks, good people.
obrigado.

Exactly what I've bought it for. Replaces my existing broken one that has forced me to use the on-screen keyboard for a while. However I did fall into the trap that my HTPC doesn't have Bluetooth so I've had to order a dongle as well.
Ordered the Portuguese one as well, will go fine with my Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet
I went Hebrew... Greater correlation to the UK keyboard and the extra sybols are easy ignored as they dont mean anything to me!

How do boot into the BIOS or decrypt your HDD (VeraCrypt/TrueCrypt etc) with a Bluetooth keyboard?
I've always had to use wireless ones. They don't seem to start functioning until Windows is running.
Yep, another surprised Portuguese keyboard owner here Thanks OP, cracking deal.
Someone bought 10!
Theyve raised the prices I think.
gone up to £5.99 i am still mulling over if i actually need one. ummmmmmmm.......

it is not about affordability. i already have things i never use because everything seems a bargain. i have to exert some control, otherwise my house will end up like a stock room full of junk i will never use.
Can't afford this .....any cheaper unit
This is a great deal, whatever you use it on obviously the keyboard mapping can be changed to suit however you wish. Whether you setup UK keyboard mapping on your Android/iOS or Windows device and get overlay keyboard stickers, or setup keyboard mapping for whichever keyboard you buy and stick with the mapping printed on the keys.

The Hebrew one is the most like a US layout keyboard and the one with the least differences from the UK layout as standard.

Form factor wise the Portuguese and the Hungarian keyboards have the same shortened left shift key and elongated return/enter key.

If you are used to US keyboard layout the Hebrew one setup to US keyboard mapping would be the easiest switch without any need for keyboard stickers overlays.

Otherwise definitely the Portuguese of Hungarian ones with sticker overlays (the Portuguese is a horrendous mess with the colons, semi colons, apostrophe, plus and minus signs etc) would easily convert perfectly into a standard UK layout keyboard.

I don't like the idea of using sticker overlays and happy to have ordered a Hebrew one (cheapest too), whereas my wife went for a Portuguese one.
Would this connect and work with the Amazon Firestick?
Gone for the Hebrew version. Thanks OP
