I've had one of these for a year or so - I bought it in a bundle offer on here.

Nice mouse and the batteries last for ages - not sure about 8 months though) but the rubber covering on the mouse button disintegrated a few weeks ago! Although it still works well and I've voted hot

Shock none near Peterborough

Thanks have reserved one, heat added. Would have liked a smaller transceiver, never mind though.

cheers got one from my local
thanks

thanks was going to buy when it was £17.99, lucky i didn't. Just reserved the last one.

Sometimes you need be willing to travel too. This is OOS in all my local stores too but I managed to find the last one in a store a further 8 miles away. Try checking further away.

Hottt! Nabbed the last one in my area, cheers OP!

Well Argos advertises goods they hardly have at that price - that is free advertising although illegal.
Next time they ll advertise laptops at £10 but none in stock - rubbish

ewwaxo

not as good as logitech laser mice. for sure.

depends on the surface. in general laser is better for accuracy, optical is better for surface compatibility, so if you'll be using the mouse on the same flat hard surface all the time then yes, laser is better.

if you'll be using it on the desk, floor, couch etc then optical is the way to go. i've found blutrack mice are pretty good overall. while BT can't really stand up to logitechs darkfield sensor, it's a much cheaper option, and most aren't going to see a major difference.

oh yeah, hot deal btw!

Guys What adissapointment for for me I went to pick up my reserved and it was wired one and it was 1000 not the 5000 modal any way so I spoke to the store manager and she checked it and said they have made mistake with this item got the wrong item in the box ,so guys if you have picked ur one recently please check it it might be the wrong item in the box ,so I got my refund.

no stock - another no hope argos listing

None in stock within 25 miles of Edinburgh.

Reserved one at Borehamwood last night late and picked it up this morning. All it took was a bit of patience and clicks on the mouse. Thanks OP.

thought i'd let you know, just went to get the mouse, and I received the correct one.
(microsoft wireless mouse 5000 with bluetrack technology)

the battires live nowhere near 8months! thats a joke. does work on glass though, not very good on wool or thick fabric though. just doesn't glide.

Worked out ok for me in the end... popped in next door(ish) and got the MicroSoft Bluetrack 6000 version for only £20.52 from Comet worth the extra £7 odd hopefully.
