Had a quick look about and this seems to be the cheapest around This will project your phone or laptop wireless to the big screen. Wi-Di compatible too, should your device support it.

Good price. Not compatible with iPhone or Mac OS of course.
So this is a wire to make something wireless
I see wires.....
Why not get a chromecast
Would you be able to use this to get sky sports mobile on a TV?

Pretty sure that Sky apps don't work on this for screen mirroring. Think E4 is the same. Mine works ok for iPlayer, Netflix and Amazon
I bought one of these for 30 a few years ago and although it's a good piece of tech it's not meant to be used with video
the already perceptible lag with mouse/keyboard and web browsing is made unbearable by a video. Not only is it VERY choppy, but the sound is also very obviously out of sync

This is primarily meant for presentations. It does that very well.
If you're looking for a video streamer you'd be much better served by a chromecast (which I also have, and use for that purpose)

Lol nothing is ever compatible with them. So annoying
I bought one of these a few years back, and I found it to be very laggy and not really good for anything other than sending images, and really I cannot see its use over a Chromecast

What it the same version (V2) that you purchased? Don't know if there is an improvement...
I have the v2 and it's fine for streaming video. I recall when I bought it reports of the previous version not being acceptable for video so specifically went for the v2. That's all I use it for when I'm away and stream to hotel TVs or a mini projector.

No, Sky block screen mirroring / casting.
What you may be able to get away with, depending on your phone, USBC to HDMI as it's usually processed as the same screen ..... But don't blame me if that doesn't work!
I have this v2 and have no problem with video. It works just fine.

I had the V1 and it was horrendous for streaming videos. I sent it back and got the V2. Massive improvement
