Seems like a good price? What's been the usual price for it?
Any feedback on this .. i have heard some of the microsoft keyboards are not up to scratch as to say logitech?

Also as it runs on 2.4ghz, will it intefere with my wireless router which also runs on 2.4ghz?

Heat given

funny enough just been looking for a keyboard i will wait for a few reviews first also i want a mouse to go with it any suggestions out there

Very very good keyboard, I have the deskset and have been very happy with it. Nice design, comfortable to use and easy to type on. Best I've used to date.

I have to say, the wireless in the is terrible. I used mine for 3 weeks not more than 1 metre away from desktop, and it seems whichever port I used the wireless adapter in, the keyboard would frequently miss keystrokes and become un-responsive from time to time. Greatly decreasing productivity. Even when the keyboard was in direct line of sight it would suddenly become unresponsive requiring the adapter to be reset for no apparent reason.

The worst thing is that even covering the middle section of the keyboard with your typing hands is enough to block the wireless signal. So possible design flaw somewhere in this keyboard. For instance I would type about 3 words as you would normally and the keyboard would not update the words on the screen. I type the same words again, then quickly remove my hands from the keyboard, and despite a delay, all the words would then get typed.

I haven't given up on wireless keyboards, but have returned to a wired keyboard until wireless keyboards operate as well as wireless mice.

cracking keyboards i have two and love them, bizarely though i managed to pour coffee over one yesterday and thus will be needing one at this price!!

You should find that if you leave your keyboard unplugged in a dry place such as an airing cupboard for a day or two it might still work fine.

I know you can do this with wired ones, but not sure about wireless ones. You can even clean wired ones by putting them in a dishwasher, drying them out and then they'll still work. Worth a try with the wireless one

ive been using this for about 3 weeks now. good so far. doesnt miss any key presses.
some of the keys are a little small i.e. left shift key and the function keys. not ideals as i use some of the function keys alot.
modern style. matches my Samsung monitor perfectly! it is see through plastic (kinda smoke coloured) around the edge vs. real glass on my monitor.
the angle of the keyboard is fixed and not adjustable. but seems just right for me.
there are extra keys that werent on my last keyboard such as picture zoom in and out.
one cool feature with a remote keyboard is the ability to control audio playback from a distance! e.g. change tracks, change volumne.

I already have a mirosoft wireless keyboard / mouse combi, would this keyboard work with the reciever (700v2) which i already have?

pot luck, depends if they changed frequencies or anything else, when i tried changing my logitech one i had to use the new dongle as it would not recognise the new keyboard on the old one ... the old bluetooth hub (v1) recognised the new bluetooth mouse though .... so i guess only real way is to try it

also seems to have gone up in price

Picked up this in the set from Maplins and mine keeps missing keystrokes too, give it another few days then taking it back if it doesn't improve. Shame as nice otherwise
