No, don't expire it.
It's still £8.99, but you have to click on "21 new" link to find it!

The ebay deal is £5.98 + £1.99 postage and he has 50 in stock

Anyone know what the range is on these?

The USB receiver is rather large (not nano).

Yes, the receiver is a large, wired USB dongle which sits next to your PC / laptop. Why anyone would want one of these when you can get perfectly good wireless laser mice with a nano receiver for just £5-£10 more is beyond me.

thanks for the link

The link says Price: £15.89

Great price, but I think these are faulty. The mouse works fine when I'm sitting at my desk next to the computer but then when I go into another room or go downstairs it doesn't work. I tried attaching the aerial from my wireless router into the slot at the bottom but this still didn't work and there was nowhere to enter the IP address so I just wrote it on the bottom.

Why didn't you make it in the world of stand-up?

Logitech V220 , £14 @ Play

same microsoft mouse, same price play.com/PC/…tml

Heat + for the price, but I bought one of these Monday from Tesco (£17.50) and it was awful to use. It was ok half the time, but other times it was very jumpy and suffered from quite a bit of movement lag. I should point out, the mouse I upgraded from was a very good MS Optical Mouse 1000 (wired) and that performed superbly)

I took it back to Tesco anyway, and got a Optical Mouse 3000 (wired) instead from PC World for £19.99. Much much much better quality and works smoothly.

Go for it if price is more important than quality though.

Tried a few wireless mice and keyboards over the years , all have been returned or binned.

Still using a Microsoft Intellimouse with a BALL , £2 at a Computer Fair, never had a problem.

Or £7.99 if you don't mind black (essentially the same mouse I think, just a different name)

I have the 'Black Pearl' version of this (Play sent the wrong one!), it's a good basic mouse, tracks reliably.

There are loads, even just on Play. This particular mouse is massively overpriced for what it is.

Gigabyte GM-M7700 2.4GHz Wireless Laser Mouse - £17.99

Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 - £16.99

Logitech RX720 Wireless Laser Mouse - £15.99

Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0 - £17.99
play.com/PC/…tml

Not sure about the exact dimensions of the receiver on each of them, but none of them are as large as the one on this particular model. Plus, they're all laser mice, whereas the OP's one is not.

Unexpired as still available on back order 1 - 3 weeks

I've tried a few logitech and MS wireless mice over the years and all have been poor, with the exception of ....

The wireless mouse and keyboard combo that is Logitech EX110... SUPERB!

My Logitech V220 hasn't been a problem at all

Can't believe such a mediocre piece of kit has got so hot.

Yes, vista compatible.

microsoft.com/uk/…069

I prefer wired mice myself, I guess that I haven't used a decent wireless one though.

I've had a few of these over the last few years and I can't say I would reccomend them, very old design and not that great to use, and theres a massive USB reciever. When it first came out in 2003 (under a different name back then) it was good but I think its now a little dated and this price seems a bit high IMO. Anyhow I won't vote on the deal as I can't see the same thing cheaper elsewhere.
