The only thing that ever goes wrong with microwaves is when you break the glass plate, and I bet that isn't covered by the warranty.

I think the "recommendation" by HUKD is just a quote from someone who posted a deal.

Interesting. Never had that happen. I would think it would be down to them being marginal spec, only just up to the job, nominally, with some individual examples a bit below nominal..
Not sure whether to get this or the one at richer sounds. The richer sounds one look like a much better deal on paper. Anybody got any idea which would be best?

well we brought one when they were out last time, we are on number 3 of there replacements - would never buy from Aldi again so much hassle getting an item returned/replaced due to failure. Takes them about 10 days to get one back to you.

Fingers crossed number 3 has survived longer than any of the others ive had!

haha. i only have coffee occasionally in the mornings - usually in a rush so i need a reverse microwave.

the worst thing has been defrosting stuff, if i forget to get it out in the morning its a PITA.
