Never tried microwave popcorn, is it any good? will give it a go for a £1 though

its tidy enough, good for a sunday afternoon on the sofa in front of a movie with the family.
Don't over cook it or it will burn, once the pops subside get it out and shake it a bit, you can always re-do the kernals in the bottom of the tub afterwards

Makes your house smell of.. popcorn... for the forseeable future

tis good stuff.

Garfield would approve

Yum Yum

Great for those long winter days on the sofa with a film or two.

Causes cancer.

Careful, there've been lots of stories in the news recently about health issues concerning Microwave Popcorn.
Sure "Popcorn Lung" may sound glamorous but the reality is very different!

I love popcorn!

Hot Deal for what it is, but nothing beats buying 1kg of kernels for about £1, some groundnut (peanut) oil for £3 & being able to make tonnes & tonnes of it for a month, tastes way nicer too.

Just heat the oil with 1 kernel in, remove it when it pops, throw a handful or two in with salt/sugar & swirl pan til it fills.

If you like butter add a bit with the kernels & salt. Simple, cheaper & way tastier, fewer unpopped kernels & no burnt ones, unlike doing it in the microwave.

Oh, don't forget to leave the lid slightly ajar to let the steam out, spoils the taste completely.

dont buy the pink sugar one from home bargains, burns like crazy even after 30sec in the microwave.

whats that about then??

I had some of these recently and wasn't impressed. First time I picked up some of the butter packets which turned out to be salty, the next time I went for the sweet, although they tasted nicer than the butter one they still weren't that great.

Maybe it's just me being fussy but nothing like you buy in the (over-priced) cinema and certainly nothing like the packet stuff which has a lot of coating but if you like it then certainly cheap enough.

just buy the Butterkist pack... at least there edible.....

Heat added for the picture of Garfield =P

It's always this price but it is a good deal

mmmmmm delicious carcinogens...
