Just saw these in our local, good price but lids aren't as good as the more expensive ones for that reason alone I put them back will be 79p for a plastic mug.

the mugs are rather big. the lids not super tight but i think it safe and closes it enough for spilling not as most tins of soup fill it just over half way. not like youd be waving it around everywhere

Was this in the town centre Leigh??

I bought something similar from tkmax a few weeks ago.
was disappointed as it leaked first time, prob my fault, in micro too long.
Though it looks similar but i paid £5 and it was meant to be £10

Used it on lower times and its good

Sorry wasnt clear, it was the plastic catches I was talking about, dont think they will last very long, the expensive ones have different types of catches. these seemed thinner than the ones on the same type of catch lid boxes.

I'm voting hot because it's from leigh home and bargains the old coop ah those were the days.

I've been using mine for a while, it's never leaked, but then I keep it upright while transporting it to work. A bargain for the price

I have one of these, as well as some of the more expensive Sistema mugs. This is not bad, and does not leak in my experience. However, there is a thick line just below the rim of the mug, which makes it really uncomfortable to drink soup out of these mugs. For me the Sistema mugs are better.

Just my opinion, not voted either way.

the town centre one yeah. they are as you go through the door, on your right

the lid is rubbish and I certainly wouldnt expect it not to leak

but for your locker at work to warm up soup or beans in the microwave what else do you need. The lid stops splatter too and being plastic you can carry it compared to a thermo nuclear hot mug/bowl.

I have one in my locker and it gets plenty of hammer, 3 or 4 times a week for the past year. If youre fussy buy red so the soup or beans stain isnt as visable. Mines green with a lovely red line 3/4 of the way up it

the Sistema ones are 60p in sainsburys just now. got some yesterday

These are great, I got the noodle version, the lid is as good as the sistema one's which I have and also leak out of the hole at the top. I use at home for soups plus for salads for work. The noodle versions were 99p.
