The
bagless Miele for £149, this is the 1200w version where all the newer
ones are 900w, so I can only assume Miele are off'ing the old stock at
this reduced price.

New ones are only 900w wont be long before they match the power ouput of a dustpan & brush ...
If you have a Dyson this will be like going from a Dacia to a Merc.

The Get deal button just appears to take you to a generic Miele page. This is the correct link.
Excellent price cheapest I've seen this, I have this is very good cleaner
Good price @stickyjam1 seems to be a lot more at other shops

Sticky jam, take a bow! Thanks for this. These machines have a reputation to be quality and have gained so many good reviews. This one is a bagless one too making it more comparable with the dysons. Have ordered! Thanks again! 👊🏼

I wouldn't be so dismissive of the lower power Miele vacuum cleaners, compared to the old ones with higher wattage. The newer Miele vacuum cleaner my parents have has better suction than their old one. In fact the suction selection power setting needs to be rather low; otherwise it is going to pull the carpets up.

They have the cleaners using the bags. Their new one being the C3 limited edition for £109 (Amazon DOTD)

Heat added, we have a Miele, also have an old Dyson, the Dyson is better but the Miele is no slouch compared to one and the next best thing as far as we are concerned.
Very good price.
Currys price £309.99

I have a Miele vacuum cleaner and it's the best I've ever owned. Well built and very very efficient.
Looking at the Currys reviews a lot of comments about brittle plastic breaking and being very heavy but no complaints about suction except to say too powerful for some. The only thing it gets a lower rating for is carpet which is 'B' instead of 'A' but 'B' is still very good for a cylinder vacuum cleaner.
Looks like a good deal. Voted hot. One question for any owners what's it like carrying it up and down stairs, it seems a bit on the heavy side.

but the old 2000+w Mieles are awesome for carpets; so whilst the new ones still have good suction it does seem as though they are a downgrade over the old high pwer ones. .. why is high suction required - animal hair.

Hello, it weighs about 6kg so yes it’s a little heavier in comparison to other machines of a similar vein but it’s not going to break your back. Need to weigh up the great saving vs the slightly more weight and shorter cable. The saving you are making on this machine by far outweighs the slightly heavier weight.

Simply brilliant machines!

This or a dyson upright?
How do these compare to Shark upright?
Looks an amazing price!
I have an old miele bagged, which i love but prob over 10 years old now. I mainly have carpets, do you think it still worth a buy for me. My only current issue is that I'm a bit annoyed at forking out for the bags all the time.
Thanks for this post, I've literally been waiting for a decent offer on a miele to come on since my last one broke a couple of weeks ago (water damage!). I had a 20% voucher as a loyalty discount, but they upgraded it to 50% and I got the vacuum for £74.50!

Cheers

Sharks are good, but Miele trumps them all day long. Spent a lot of time reviewing the sharks when deciding on a vacuum but because it’s a relatively new brand, I think there is still a bit to go before competing with the established players

Stickyjam1 you're a star!
You've just saved me £400
Our Dyson has gone on the blink for a month now and I've been waiting for a decent price on the Dyson v10.

O damn! Where did you find that code? I had a good session googling with no luck! Even googling the code now gets zero hits

RIP 50QUID still a good price!
Anyone know where I can get a turbo brush for cheap?

I bought the shark upright the other day and it does a fantastic job picking up dust and hair from the carpet but only issue it the manoeuvrability.

I'm now worried that it won't be as good as the shark for carpets and that's what I primarily need it for

is this any good for carpets though?

Great deal and if I was flush this week I'd buy one as a spare but the wife would kill me
Talking to the manager of my local tip at the weekend or should I say our local council recycling centre. They have a 20' container especially for household electrical items. Can anyone guess what it was full of vacuum cleaner wise........

It wasn't Miele by the way or Shark.
I think the £50 off code has been stopped.
