WOW SUPER HOT!!!
excellent deal. I have the previous higher wattage version. It's a steal at this price
3 still available on Tesco's site if you prefer them.
thanks, ordered
Got the 1600w c2 and it sucks. Literally.

Best hoover I've ever used, and I'm sure this will still be the same with a little less power. We use it on quiet/eco mode anyway so we don't ever need the full 1600!
Due to the Polar Bear crisis I see wattages are dropping somewhat.
Looking at this as a replacement to our very heavy Dyson upright. What's the suction like on these?
Bargain, wish the pet one was on offer!
I have the more expensive model (C3 Complete) and honestly the suction is crap. It does an OK job cleaning low pile carpet and our wooden floors but is hard to use on our medium-pile carpet.

We had a Miele hoover several years back and it was disappointing to be honest , not what i was expecting off a top brand and I think it only lasted 2 or 3 years.
My missus really didn't like it at all .
Never used it myself.:)

Our C2 complete is great. Especially when it only cost £20 from Tesco a few months ago. Thanks to HUKD

Realise this price may not stay for long on Amazon, and wondered if anyone can provide a quick recommendation between this model and the C1 linked below.

Not seeking a detailed individual spec comparison. But if anyone is knowledgeable about these models, is there a clear case for going with the C1, or C2. Easy to assume a Version 2, is better than a Version 1, but seem unable to make an easy and quick decision with these specs.

Similar with our Dyson. We bought the DC33 upright and the suction on it really isn't all that, and which is more it is massive (my wife really struggles with it up the stairs). Certainly not what we expected from a Dyson.

The best vac we ever had was a Bosch cylinder vac.
We have the bigger full powered version of this and I think the build quality is very good on them. As for suction well it lifts the carpet off the floor!

I believe the C3 is better than the C2 which is better than the C1.

Then they have different models within each range. Like C3 EcoLine. C3 Powerline, etc.

Miele is the best vacuum you can buy. It's head and shoulders above dyson, etc. It will pick up debris no other would.

I suggest going for one of the higher end models.

buy cheap and buy twice. the one linked above should last you 30+ years for average household duties

I agree with your sentiment regarding buying quality. However the purpose in mind for this would not justify a model costing £200 more than the C1 or C2.

My question still remains between the 2 models mentioned if anyone is in a position to offer guidance or knowledge. Thank you.

I have the C3 pet model, but I bought the C2 for my mum when her Henry packed in. She loves it and says her carpets feel a lot cleaner than when using the Henry. At this price it's a steal.
Apparently the PowerLine actually sucks properly. The Eco models are just crap.

Funny, my mums Henry just packed in and asked me to find her a new one, so was wondering how this compared to the Henry!

The C1 is a cheaper model.

You might well want to have a look at this white C2 ecoline, it stores the additional tools within the hoover, under a flap, rather than in a bracket in the way on the hose that is likely to get annoying and lost.

This might be worth considering for anyone who has missed out. With the £10 Amazon voucher today, it brings it down to the C2 price.

From what I can see, it has the advantage of a larger bag at 4.5l rather than 3.5l, and has the ability to choose various power settings up to 1400w in comparison with 700w. A lot of reviews state that this results in greater suction. Unless EU environmental issues are a primary criteria for you, the only downside I can easily see is the lack of a telescopic tube. Average price o Camel shows this price is historically good, and the average over time is similar to the C2.

Miele C1 Junior Powerline - Red

Received yesterday and powered it up last night. Extremely impressed, suction is so strong it lifts up the carpet in places, build quality is excellent, its compact and not excessively noisy (unlike our jet engine powered Dyson DC33 which has half the suction!).
