Not quite £60 - Amazon have it at £130 in blue. Top price though (despite colour!) Heat

Miele walk all over crappy henry, dont buy henry, cheap sh*t!

Avoid henry!!!!! Just reserved one

The only benefit of a Henry is if you want to look bourgeois and employ a cleaner.

Not better than a Dyson, surely??

extremely better than dyson

Reserved one, cheers OP.

Worth noting that if you add a £0.50 SIM card then you will receive a £10 voucher which you can then use towards buying a set of 4 dustbags, meaning you will get this awesome hoover and 4 spare bags for £103. Bargain.

I had always heard good things about Miele hoovers but in one of those little graphics I see:
D for carpets
C for hardfloors
G for energy.

They're poor figures, surely?

The only thing that puts me off Miele vacuum cleaners is the pricey bags. Their fridges aren't the same quality -mine died after 14 months.

How is this excellent?

Carpet pick up rating: D.
Hard floor pick up rating: C.
Overall energy rating: D.
Total emissions: B.
dB80 noise level.

Anyone used these on carpets with cat hair?

My current Morphy Richards cylinder is great on hard floors but useless on carpet

Take a look here, all might not be as it seems:

which.co.uk/new…54/

In light of that, I have gone for it and heated.

at the end of the day, its a 700W-1600W vacuum so wouldnt expect energy efficiency to be great anyway. Performance exceeds energy consumption by some margin in my list of priorities. This new reduction by the EU seems nonsense to me if lower motor power means having to vacuum twice as long

Totally agree re needing to vacuum twice as long with new low power devices.... 0 saving...

Does anyone know if this is better or the one from john lewis a few days back?

£13 for 4 bags? Jeez.

This is rated far from best.

Actually it's worth noting that the calculation for the energy efficiency are linked to the pick up on carpet and hard floor. So if a vacuum is so under-powered it doesn't pick up much of the dust/debris in the required number of passes then it scores badly and gets a low pick up rating and a low energy rating. In truth, as that Which report suggests, the tests are flawed and the ratings on machines are in some cases a little suspect, but comparing this one with some other Miele units that have much better ratings would suggest this is a inferior product.

Of course that doesn't mean this isn't still a good deal at the price if you're in the market for a bagged vacuum from a good manufacturer.

I reserved one at Argos then paid at the till picking up a 33p chocolate malteaser bunny to take it over £100 and the cashier gave me a card loaded with £10 so £90.32.

picked mine up this morning. If this is inferior, then the superior ones must be amazing. Had it on 1600w and it was lifting my stair carpet up in the air! You can see, feel and hear the quality of this. Far superior to any dyson I have had

Thanks OP. Bargain of the day for me.

Note it obviosuly doesnt have 10m hose extension like the argos description states but fits snuggly on the stairs and cant see it falling backwards. Very light.

Is this better than the john lewis one posted afew days ago

As usual with Argos offers... They never seem to have stock of the item..checked 5 stores.. Not one has any stock

The best of its type. top quality can't be beaten.
Makes a Dyson look like high priced joke .. which they are ... !
Henrys are way heavier but better at heavy duty tasks the C2 is better at regular home cleaning rather than DIY.
So best vacuum available and at £99 a complete bargain. Schorcio hot tttttttt

The bags are available from
