I'd change your title to include the net price, citing Miele cashback - might make this post more attractive.

Excellent price for this vacuum cleaner. Had mine for 5 years now, no issues at all. Much better than Dyson vacuum imo.

I can’t really find this exact model looking at the cashback website. Anyway, good price if the cashback is valid.
Just saw the updated price.
very good cleaner and really powerful suction. Good price - and there's a 2 year guarantee too.
Got that for £89. The cheapest should be £99. Hang around and wait. And it's not very good as it is NOT bagless!
Paid £72 for this about 4 years ago from a deal posted on here from Debenhams superb quality

can you elaborate on that?
defo value for money
800W, lol.
Nah the only thing you need to buy is a Dyson animal wireless. Life is convenient with dyson
The suction in my old miele can pull the carpet up, is this as powerful? I presume its a lot more efficient than mine from 4 years ago (2000+w)
What's the difference between this and an Allergy model (apart from the price)? As I can tell from the specs both of them use the same type of bag, have motor and "exhaust" filters. Are these bags and filters the same in both vacuum cleaners or different filters are used?

I've done a bit of research when buying mine and it seems that the only difference is the type of filter. The allergy one has a HEPA fitted in, while all the rest have either Air Clean or Air Clean Plus. HEPA is said to filter up to 99.97% of all dust particles, while the Air Clean Plus gets 'only' 99.5% of them. It's worth noting that both filters are the same size and (haven't done it myself) it seems that you can buy a HEPA filter and upgrade your device to the Allergy model - but someone would need to confirm this.

Regarding other differences and smiliarities across the range, some models come with extra heads - e.g. Cat & Dog comes with a special set of brushes to clean carpets (you can buy these separately too).

In terms of power, most of the models offered now are 900W, down from 1200W offered in C2 or earlier C3 models. I've compared both C2 Allergy and C3 PowerLine (1200W vs. 900W) and the suction power was fairly similar. Not too sure if 550W models use some tricks to make them as powerful as the rest, however it's worth noting that I have to use the lowest power mode to clean the carpets, otherwise the suction is so strong that you need to put some real effort to move the handle.

Finally, some higher-end models come with the comfort handle. The top range Premium Edition model is also fitted with LEDs so you can see what you're vacuuming better. The handle is quite convenient, so if you can get a model with one for a few quid more, I would definitely recommend it.

Miele makes great products, I bought my vacuum cleaner fairly recently, but if it lasts long £150 I paid for Complete C3 PowerLine Limited Edition (miele.co.uk/dom…htm?mat=10660910&name=Complete_C3_Limited_Edition_PowerLine_-_SGSF3) was a fair price. I know you can get them cheaper from time to time, but I had to get one urgently and I don't regret buying it at all.
I have now bought this C3 model from Curry's and have tried it out. Compared to my old 2000W Miele S4211, it works just as well and just as powerfully at 550W - giving it an A rating for energy performance. What's noticeable is that it's less noisy. I don't have carpets so can't comment on how it works with them, just hard floors and rugs for which it has an A rating. It seems to pick up more dust, my old one would miss bits. It also has an A rating for dust emission, so I believe that means less dust blown out through the exhaust. The filter inside is AirClean Plus. As the previous commenter says, you can buy any filter and install it, I did that with my old machine, buying a HEPA filter. It has three accessory heads carried inside the body, which is a big help as I usually can't be bothered to go and look for the missing brush heads when I need them. It has a long cable so I can reach my whole flat, without having to unplug. The operating radius is 12m. The boost function is when you need extra suction power, and it ramps up to 1100w for 20 seconds. The controls are better than my old one, because they are foot controls and you don't have to bend down. It also has a park bit, so you can stand the whole brush and holder there when you stop, rather than leaning it against a wall. The bags are 4.5 L so larger, and therefore last longer. These are the improvements I've noticed, compared to my 9 year old model. The grey colour looks classy too.

Love Miele Vacuum cleaners imo better than the bagless ones I've had in the past my current model is a 10 year old S4211 and it's been amazing! Wouldn't by anything else. If using on hard floors I'd recommend getting this MIELE SBB 400-3 Parquet Twister XL Brush33571482-Vfvom.jpg

UPDATE: I managed to get the £30 cashback from the Miele Cashback promotion-
For C3 Compleet Eco LIne Boost.
So if you buy this model, give it a go. Brings total price down to £119
miele.co.uk/dom…htm
There is a 890W Powerline version of Limited Edition £4 cheaper in Amazon, with Cashback £116: amazon.co.uk/dp/B074P77HMS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_L0Z1AbSSR7QE2

I guess powerline variant might be bit more powerful than ecoline range, especially for carpets, etc...
