May be the colour????

More like the "limited 890w of power". Most proper C3s come with the proper 1200w motor.
This effort is for those who like to pick up breadcrumbs with style.
I’ve got the older more powerful version of this and it practically pulls the carpet up

The wattage doesn't determine the power. The newer models have less wattage and are more energy efficient. Not necessarily less powerful.

LOVE Miele cleaners. Took me too long to discover how good they are. Still not disappointed with mine after over a decade
This deal sucks heat added, thanking you
We bought our daughter a 1200w Miele C2 with a 1200w motor. It was on offer at the time from Amazon at £120.

We have a 2400w Vax with 400 Air Watts and yet the Miele seemed to be almost as capable, in terms of its suction capability. There was no mention of the Air Watts capability at the time of purchase.

I'm not sure how effective one would be with a 890w motor, changes in design etc might only go so far when reducing power so much. But unless something changes we will have to get used to the maximum power being 900w pretty soon when stock of the older models runs out.

I'll raise yoy one extension (and internal walls were straw board), two house moves then a complete redesign of ground floor layout. And cleaning up breezeblock dust from a cut-through. Oh....and a dog 🐶
Miele vacuum cleaners are excellent, much better than Dyson in my opinion.
I had an old C3. I used it to clean up after the builders left and it failed. I returned it to Miele who said as they found plaster dust in it they wouldn't honour the warranty. There may be other exclusions so best to check. I would have been better off with a Henry. The best vacuum cleaners from what I understand are Sebo's
This hoover sucks harder than your mother op, heat.

Mieles are just amazing. Unfortunately for me their only product I can afford to buy is the vacuum cleaner but if I could, then every appliance of mine would be Miele- pure quality!!

Incorrect only exception is dysons and possible a few other models from other manufactures but these are more expensive models that have the technology to produce the same or similar suction. You will not get the same power or efficiency from a lower priced or budget ones. Therefore speaking in terms of customer point of view as only a fraction would look into details, it would be better to go for higher watts as you have less risk as opposed to going for energy efficient one that may or may not be as good, definitely not better.

By definition, wattage is a unit of power so of course its determines the power. However, you're right, efficiencies mean the suction could be the same as a higher powered model.

Not good with plaster dust if you have this problem like I have had a few times on my 10 year old Miele c2 just change the filters and it will be good as new. Personally I wouldn’t buy any other vac it’s been fantastic and easy to do stairs etc too.

Is the correct Amazon protect cover level for a cleaner £200-£249.99 as the normal price of this is £240?

I'm sure in the past Amazon said to get the level at the normal selling price and not the DOTD/ lightning price. Anyone confirm if it is still this. Amazon customer services don't seem to know!
The Miele vacuum range is confusing. In what way is this better than a cheaper C1/C2 etc.? The only thing I think I'm interested in is having the Turbo brush head but this seems like a good offer and is tempting.

Can't wait to get rid of my Henry. Utter rubbish.

Not quite true. Manufacturers are using very low efficiency motors making comparison impossible.
This limited edition might just conform to the new EU regulations.

It's exactly true. low efficiency motors or not, wattage is a unit of power.
I am getting lazy, though I guess I did confirm the point.
I have used my Miele to clean cob webs and dust from insulation in my loft hasn't let me down yet...like folk have said here just keep your filters clean and you won't go wrong.
What's the difference between the c1 c2 &c3 complete models? On paper seems to be very little in it.
