Powerful cleaning performance

Clean dirt and dust on both carpeted and hard floors, with the Miele Complete C3 Pure Power Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner. Combining a tight seal with the air flow, the floorhead delivers strong suction to achieve impressive results even on the lowest power setting.

AirClean filter

With 890 W of power, the Miele Complete C3 Pure Power will effortlessly remove even the most stubborn dirt from all manner of surfaces. And thanks to its AirClean filter, it won't recirculate dust back into the air you breathe. The vacuum cleaner efficiently removes dust particles from the air it sucks in, so that the air in your home is as clean as your freshly-vacuumed flooring.

Large operating radius

Vacuuming around the house can be time-consuming when you constantly need to switch plug-points. Thanks to the Miele Complete C3 Pure Power Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner large operating radius of 12 metres, you won't need to switch so frequently. Achieve quicker, cleaner results from fewer power sources.

Easy to use

Anyone can get to grips with the Miele Complete C3 Vacuum Cleaner. Thanks to its ergonomic design and 360° rotating hose, the vacuum cleaner feels comfortable to use whether you're left or right-handed. The controls are simple and can be found at the bottom of the unit, with images to illustrate cleaning options.

You won't need to manually rewind the cable, either. Simply press the foot pedal and the vacuum cleaner will automatically rewind it for you.

Additional accessories

Those tricky corners and fabrics aren't so tough to clean anymore with the Miele Complete C3 Pure Power.

With the crevice nozzle and dusting brush, it's easy to remove the dust and cobwebs that commonly form around the corners and skirting boards. The upholstery tool makes light work of cleaning sofas and fabrics, while every accessory can be comfortably stored in the vacuum cleaner, for simple storage when you're done.

I have had two Miele Cylinder Vacuum Cleaners, one burnt out the motor, the other is now in the process of failing. I kept the filters clean, and did not use for DIY. So sorry, but for me I am going back to Sebo as a brand I can Trust.
Thanks - have some heat! My other Miele vacuum has given me 17 years of hassle free use and is still running strong - but time for a new one. The other will still be used for the car and DIY dusty jobs. Hope this one is still built as well.

Thanks OP.

Sick of having to strip the rotating brush head out of my Shark to clear loose hairs and strands every 20 seconds when vacuuming carpets so was looking for a new machine. This appears to get great reviews so ordered!

Same, and I’ve got two long-haired blonde daughters and wife at home.
Purchased last week from Currys, really impressed I have to say. Very neat design and incredibly powerful.

Also picked up the Turbo brush for £49.99 from Currys too, had to be delivered to store though. I would add that the supplied head is a lot harder to use than the Turbo brush, a bit of a workout on full power. Carpets came up beautifully with the turbo brush.40218455-mbtLm.jpg

Miele occasionally do a 5 year warranty promotion and they come to your home to repair.

Never needed the warranty for the vacuum cleaner but have used it for a washing machine (in its 9th year of service at my parents house) and my dishwasher (soap compartment would struggle to stay closed).

Both times, they’ve been brilliant.
Last 10 years we have had 2 Cats and Dogs version. The first one died after many years (our fault accidentally sucked up oil). Second one probably 5 years + and still vacuums as new. The parts of the second are more cheap compared to the original one

Easy to replace defective parts once you're out of warranty. Well thought out design that doesn't need fettling to fit back together.
But, as is often the case, if the motor or cable reel go, they can be replaced, but often it's cheaper to get a new machine when on a deal, so kind of makes a mockery of all that thought they've put into the design and repairability.

I think it's a worthwhile expenditure to use Miele original bags and filters as that's what will cause the motor to go insane in da membrane. Less crud finds its way to the motor, so the motor's brushes have a better chance of providing a long service life.
You just need to make sure you buy them when on deal prices, (often in combo deal bulk packs of bags & filter).
Full price replacement HEPA or Cat&Dog filters cost from £15 to £20+ per instance, and they need replacing once a year with typical usage, running this thing can be expensive if you buy the discardable items at RRP.

How does the mechanism to lock the extension pole work? Is it a twist and lock of the collar, or a notch/button release mechanism?

It's a notch and button mechanism, you can set at a range of lengths. In the picture I posted, it is fully closed.

cool. So it's as has been for the last few years. Good. Thought they'd cheaped out on their inferior twist collar thing.
The turbo brush you got, the old built like a tank unit with the orange access screws, or the newer fibreteq redesigned head with red bristles?

The old, went for the cheaper option

Very impressed with the whole thing
I liked this vacuum when first purchased, but a few things which have become annoying over time.

1. It’s a full on workout when vacuuming carpet, if you don’t work the carpet hard it doesn’t get all the fluff and stuff up
2. It doesn’t pull along easily on carpet, needs a good yank
3. If it falls over which it often does, or when cleaning the stairs, the comfort cable recoils gets knocked and suck up the cable.

It does clean well, but it’s just harder work than it needs to be...

It's why I went for the C1 compact. Less bulk but also less cable and uses smaller bags, can't have it all!
