this is a good cleaner, but i can't get rid of henry, he's part of the family now.

Good brand, but the prospect of going back to a bagged cleaner frightens me.

Once you've tried a bagged one of these you'll be frightened by the prospect of a bagless cleaner bags last for ages by the way

Are the bags reusable? If so how many times can you reuse them?

(I haven't had a bagged cleaner for years and back then I had to replace them after one use).

my Miele just gone bang one dead motor..... new motor £150

Ten year warranty for £30 direct from Miele is worth it. Check the model on their website to see if this is eligible.

Great deal - Ordered.

checked 10yrs extended warranty but does not apply to S2 models, but it's worth registering for the free second year guarantee never the less.

hopefully the warranty will just be for peace of mind as Miele products are generally bullet prove!

Brilliant machine. I've given my 18 year old one away and bought this the other week. BTW you can extend the warranty to 10 years for £30. Ring to register for the 2 years and they offer it you.

I am waiting for the upright to come round again!

ours did the same after 18 months........... rubbish!

Bags aren't reusable but you can get them for just under a quid each on fleabay. Bagged mieles are superb. Bags last several.weeks and we vacuum almost every day. Plus even if it costs an extra £15 a year or whatever for bags, small price to pay for a properly clean house.

Forgive me if I'm just a tad underwhelmed- comparing that to a Miele is like comparing a Daewoo Matiz to an Aston Martin. Mieles are brilliant, great deal if you need a new vacuum- heat added good find.

I hate Very, Would never I've them my money NEVER.
Good deal for those who want to deal with this shower of ****.

Looks like a Dyson knock off from some China deals place TBH. Is it any good?

Don't know what experience you have had with very but we've ordered everything from tv, clothes, bedding etc and they're been exceptional on every occasion. Found the interest free buy now pay next year helpful on a few occasions. Had a problem once where yodel said they delivered something they didn't and very fixed it all and were brilliant! Felt I needed to post this to counter the above comment. In MY experience over a few years you'll be in safe hands with very!

I've used Very loads and never had a issue

Tempted to order this as my hoover is dying

Ordered lol, It's a Which best buy

Miele- old reliable Aston. Vax Air is like this one from the film "go to future"

it;s been 99 squid for ages, and i was going to buy it for the good reviews but lack of reusable bags put me off. went for a bosch instead for 80 squid and reusable bag costs 15 so works out cheaper and bosch are decent too.

It will if the wire's long enough....

Miele is a great make, German engineering at its best, but unfortunately even Miele have resorted to badging cheap Chinese tat and selling it not so cheap and this is more than likely one of those, sad really but that's life.

Ordered. £72 delivered. Thats about £30 cheaper than I paid for my Miele about 12 years ago. Its still going strong and will use it for the cars.

I have a Henry, would this be an upgrade it terms of suction power

Fantastic vacuum cleaner, have tried many makes in the past, wouldn't buy any other make now.

Unless they have brought the Chinese workers to Germany your comment is BS.

A WHICH? Best Buy.

Don't worry about them being bagged machines.

Bought a Miele Cat and Dog upright just after Christmas. The first bag still isn't full and we have a weekly cleaner so it is being used very regularly. I would have emptied the old Dyson numerous times by now.

Also this picks up better than the old Dyson. My daughter has a terribly flat carpet to which all manner of detritus sticks and the Dyson really struggled to clean it well.

The Miele, much, much better.

I'm quite happy with Dyson. It takes 2 minutes to wash the filter and as long as you do that you'll have a solidly performing machine that barely loses suction. This Miele is a good price though.

Not sure I understand this. You say that the Miele bag still isn't full but the Dyson would have been filled several times over. This suggests to me that the Dyson picks up more than the Miele and is therefore more effective than the Miele, or am I missing something??

is there any reusable bags for it?

It's more a comment about bag capacity; they hold a hell of a lot.

Bag? Pointless.. Just clogs up!

until you've used one you just don't realise how good they are and how overrated the bonnie plastic dysons and vax's are.
