JL have reduced this obsolete model to £119.00 including 2 year guarantee. Maybe the last chance to get a decent power model vacuum before the EU energy police have their way. More than 10 in stock to clear at time of posting. You cant go wrong with a Miele, knock spots off a Dyson. OK so it's got a bag but they can be had dirt cheap on ebay. Free delivery to Waitrose stores as well.

Also Free Delivery to Home as over £50.

Miele hoovers are very good, much better than Dysons. Tempted to buy this as a spare for one our old one goes wrong - but that might mean finding storage room for many years.
Miele vacuum cleaners are excellent. Hoover make their own and aren't anything to do with Miele.
Agreed, probably the last chance to grab one of these... amazing price, thanks for sharing !
this or a Henry for similar money ??
I have a similar Miele and never had an issue in about 8 years. The tube is very long which makes it tricky to store but otherwise it is great. Fantastic suction, very reliable.
thanks op

I think you are comparing a Ferrari to a Fiat 500 there. This will be our second Miele to clean upstairs (we run a B&B) and wouldn't have anything else..

Neighbour had a Henry and borrowed my Miele to "test drive" and then went straight out and bought one so would highly recommend the Miele...I also had a Dyson for years and to be honest it was the worst vacuum cleaner I've ever had the misfortune to own...bought a Miele 2200w Cat and Dog a few years ago and have never looked back...the difference is incredible picks up everything with very little effort...love Miele so much have just bought one of these to keep as a spare thanks to the EU messing around with things again and the fact the power is eventually going to go down to 900w...not exactly brilliant if you have pets or an asthma sufferer...going to buy a pet turbo brush to put on this one and then it'll be good to go...

Forgot to say HUGE thanks to you OP!!!!
Rats! Always wanted a Miele but I bought a Bosch (still going strong) last year. The cable on my Bosch is 9 metres compared to this Miele model with 6.5m. Meaning I can plug in my machine in living room and still vacuum hallway without having to re-plug in hallway (hope that make's sense!).

Voted hot
I have this hoover - it's unbeatable for the price! (paid close to £200 for mine :()

Or in my case hiding space from the OH...not sure whether the change from red to black may be a bit of a giveaway though oO
Why does everyone have to bad mouth Dyson? Dyson is a GREAT BRITISH engineering company and James Dyson is a genius!! Dyson's products are innovative, fresh and powerful. The company is highly talented, helps the British economy (even though some parts are made abroad) both internally as well as exports. We should be proud as a nation and celebrate this!! By buying more good quality British products. Yes, German products (VW are good but so are British.
surely the idea is to get the best product regardless of where they are designed. id rather have a clean floor, i have a meile by the way, than feel smug about having a cleaner just because it was designed in britain. also i havent seen a £119 new dyson in a very long time

Sorry you must be in the wrong thread, this is for a Miele, not a Hoover...

What's so genius about getting covered in dust every time you empty that bl***dy overpriced thing? Vacuum cleaner bags weren't invented just for the giggles and they do the same job without having to wash some filters each time you clean your house.

Looks like your not using it properly. Read the instructions. Simple!

Eh? Where did that all come from? Personally I want a product that does what it's supposed to do and if the Dyson I had did the job it was designed to do I would buy another one but I also don't have an issue with buying a vacuum made by a German company. Don't get me wrong I have great admiration for James Dyson but unfortunately the Dyson I had was terrible even though it was a top of the range model at the time and as a result I would never buy one again. Put it this way I'm certainly not going to waste my money buying something just because it's British if it doesn't do what I need it to do. Maybe I just got a complete dud as my mum swears by her Dyson but as far as I'm concerned once bitten twice shy and the contrast between the Dyson I had and the Miele I replaced it with is immeasurable and therefore I'll stick with Miele as at least I'm guaranteed a clean carpet with the Miele. Plus, it has to be said, although the bagless vacuum idea was innovative it's not so great if you're an asthma sufferer and end up getting a face full of dust every time you empty it.
From my experience of owning 3 Dysons and now 2 Mieles, guess which ones ended up in the tip.
