Hi PatioPotMad

I see that this is the first deal you've posted. Welcome and thanks for posting

I believe this one is cheaper at Hughes, £749 delivered if you use the 'black50' code:
hughes.co.uk/pro…295

Hope you're not disheartened though buddy! All efforts appreciated!!!

Cheers

I bought one, but was hugely disappointed to find it was white and not transparent.

Beware - Reviews on this one at JL site (not available thre any more) are VERY poor for any dryer never mind Mieilel! johnlewis.com/mie…321

Also not much of a warranty, whatever happened to 5 and 10 years?

The TKB540WB got 70% at Which and a glowing review so assume this may be similar???

But seriously though who drops £1000 (give or take) on a dryer and gets a crappy short warranty.

Using which figures it'd cost £38 a year to run a B rated "normal" dryer would cost £100

That's a LOT of years to make your money back!

Oh and add on an extended warranty too because a poxy 2 year warranty, ffs!

Jeez! does it wash the clothes before drying them?
Thats a lot of money for a drier.

Even cheaper here: £719.92 delivered.
pauldavieskitchensandappliances.co.uk/58-…tml

so it's this for £800 or a dehumidifier for £100
what's better?
1. Drying time:
ecoair dehumidifier deals with full laundry load in about 4-8 hours @ 200watt
dryer will sort it out in 1 hour @ 2000watt
2. Size
ecoair is portable and about 1/10th the size of dryer
3. electricity cost
4-8 hours @ 200watt
1 hour @ 2000watt
- fairly sililar.
So it is down to time and size. AND the huge price tag :-)
Have fun!
