bought it from miele on Monday for 125
Yes me too - bought from Miele on Monday for £125 (also got £15 off for being a Miele Platinum club member - by entering appliance serial numbers) so paid £110. Beautiful machine. Deal was on here, but sold out now.
Avoid Miele, just look at the appalling reviews from actual owners of Miele products

Authored by fans of Shark or Dyson?
Miele are fuss free, do the job and just enough style to lift something that's otherwise mundane. When you deal with them, yes sure, if it's out of warranty they'll try to generate an engineer's visit to charge you for, but they have all the parts for you to repair things yourself. These guys kencospares.com/mie…tml are very helpful.

The trustpilot link you've included references reviews of washing machines and tumble dryers.
Most of the complaints smack of basic user error or failing to understand how the machine works.

eg: "Mrs Bloom
Shocking experience
W1 Washing machine cost over £1000. It does NOT wash properly nor does it rinse properly.
1) The clothes come out smelling strongly of washing powder, are stiff and have caused dermatitis.
2) A wash scheduled to take 3hrs 5mins randomly jumps to 1 hour 29mins after 2 mins into cycle?
...."

Mrs Bloom didn't read the instructions that inform the user that the time adjusts to the state of the wash and initially starts off showing the maximum time it could take to complete.

As for the strongly washing powder nonsense. I bet she overdosed (which the machine will tell you about) or chose cheap 5h1tty washing powder, or wasn't aware of the water plus feature.

--
People with money to buy these devices also tend to be the sort of people that don't appreciate things require some degree of maintenance. From incorrect dosing, to not letting the machine air after a wash keeping the door & dispensing tray shut preventing the moisture from escaping - leading to mould growth, not performing a service wash to keep limescale and germs at bay.
All preventable if they read the manual.

It's more a symptom of I paid top dollar, I don't want to worry about it. Any machine would fail in their hands. Maybe they should employ housekeeping staff.

Back to vacuum cleaners:

Miele - Function with quite a bit of form.

Dyson - too much form with some function for the first few months.

Shark - American marketing sh33-ite

Sebo - function

Well as an owner of a Miele product and having dealt with their customer service team I can tell you the reviews of Miele's appalling and rude customer service is very true.

They have refused to honor the warranty on the product and I do know how to use the appliance and take care of it.

Out of 422 reviews 87% are poor or bad. That's more than just people who don't know how to use their products properly and alot of the reviews refer to actual faults occurring and not being dealt with.

And if any one is in doubt just read Miele only response to 422 bad reviews - the one on 21st November just to see how bad the service is.

Just something to consider before spending that much money - always read the reviews - they can't all be wrong..

87% of 422 reviews is 368 ish... So 368 negative reviews for a brand established in 1899 and winner of which large appliance brand of the year 2019, who have probably sold millions of units over the years... You had a bad experience, which sucks, but doesn't change the overall quality of a product brand. Just clicking your name and seeing what you have commented on shows all you are interested in is slating Miele lol.

BTW I just ordered a Miele CX1 from a different deal after reading reviews and comments.
