sorted byAnd the Miele would outlast all three of them.
Miele has some nice quality features but Miele is not immune from the vulnerabilities found in other machines and YOU will pay over the odds for replacements. For example, the control panel. I had a Machine bought 6 years ago, equivalent to this one and Miele were wanting £290 for a replacement adding £110 call out charge plus time. You can see why Miele are unecconomical.
Maybe, a Miele machine of twenty years ago would last 20 years but they are now much the same as the rest but with a gold plated price tag.
seems quite up to date on daily prices

Voted hot for the price.
hot!
The 1600 spin is super quiet

Still voting hot due to price, mind!
"Pros: Outstanding cleaning, good spin dry efficiency, easy to use and delay start capability
Cons: Noisy spin, no time-remaining display"
£658 is a good price.
Maybe worth adjusting the salt and rinse aid amount, made a huge difference to ours
Had the same problem, solved it by using a hotter wash.
I think its sensor wash was too cool. Either you use expensive tablets which will work ok at lower temp or you use standard tabs on a hotter wash.
No problem since.
will be some means of locking the drum during shipping, make sure you don't throw away any of these bits for when you come to move.
I've got the Samsung ecobubble. Looks nice An all but it's not good without a dryer !
Not what I found with the Miele I purchased. Maybe once upon a time, now they are at best overpriced mediocrity
Not any more...
Unfortunately, it is all hype with Miele...
Buy one today and you will not get 20 years out of it. Now, they're built like rest of them, mediocrity at inflated prices
Looks like most commentors are judging Miele on previous performance and reputation. I made that mistake.
From personal experience, these are just 'okay' machines now with gold plated price tags
Just out of interest, are you judging 'Miele' on your experience alone or a number of bad experiences?
Scottswaha... Sounds like you work for a competitor to Meile to me. Dont think I have ever seen one person **** off a brand so much.
Look, all I'm interested in is fair play. I bought one of these products which is supposedly capable of lasting 20 years and I'm faced with a repair bill of £400 plus if they repair it. I'm also qualified to degree level in electronics if that helps. I'll fix the board myself. Additionally, if you look at the forums you will see similar, dissatisfied people.
And I never read such undeserved praise of an over-priced, mediocre product. By the same token, you could be a Miele shill blowing their undeserved trumpet?

Ask yourself this, how long have Samsung Eco bubble been around? could it be that its a little bit too soon to start comparing them to Miele just because you get the same warranty length.
If you can lift them they are fine, transit bolts are located on the rear of the machine - ours weighs 86Kgs, just remember it's cast iron weight inside not a breeze block.
How about Siemens?
I recently bought a Siemens washing machine that came with a 5 year guaranteeThere's an awful lot of models when you choose washing machine from the drop down menu, then look at model numbers.
At the time I believed it was only certain models that had the free 5 year guarantee
I know the Samsung Ecobubble is rated better than the Miele, Bosch, Siemens etc according to Which magazine
I bought one for £314, and it murders the Siemen that i had!
