I have always rated miele products having owned various products including washing machine, dryer vacuum. I think this the cheapest I have seen this model plus extra £20 off. I would rather buy this then a hotpoint, candy.

Damn. If only it was bigger. 7kg is too small for me. (heat added)
Paid about half that for our Hotpoint one 5 years back and it's been fine.
With typically a 10 year average lifespan, an unbeatable 94% reliability score in Which?, greater load capacity and more advanced technology, 5 year warranty all for £100 less, LG would seem a compellingly better choice.

Miele designed for average of 20 years use, it's performance to, sister in law gave have some old tops for our 3 year, she said a few had stains and they're washing machine Couldn't remove them. In our miele after one wash there stains were out. At this price there nothing that compares to miele build quality or performance

Here you go. No charge.

are an ' and o - my us old their the 's .
Good price for a Miele. I need a bigger drum to fit my double duvet in though.
Easy to repair these Miele machines yourself. Everything has been designed with ease of servicing in mind.
Initial purchase cost is slightly more, but total cost of ownership should be a lot lower unless you abuse it by overloading the machine. Control board is very expensive and will blow if you put in a duvet or pillows which when wet, retain lots of water, therefore very heavy and will make the machine go bye-bye if over the maximum load.

Parts readily available from Miele directly for many years after your purchase should you need to repair.

Wash tub and drum are 100% stainless steel. Wash drum has different approach to drain holes that are so small that they prevent fabrics from chafing or getting pulled into them. Result = clothes suffer less wear and tear in this machine. Very good for delicates.

I know Miele are good but I've previously had whirlpool and currently a cheapish Beko machine last ages. Always seems to be a wash going in our house. I think overfilling and making sure the machine is installed plump level and no wobbles is the key to long lasting. Also descale or pop some white vinegar in eith the wash cleans and descales.

There honeycomb drum design let's wash very delicate clothes. They use to let you do the meile test in store which basically shows you the durability, you can pick the or sit on door and push on it to show the strength off the hinges. Also the scratch test where you scrape your keys on the body and will not scratch or go yellow

Distilled white vinegar good for keeping bacteria count low on clothing and in machine, plus as you say, keeping the limescale at bay.

That the one with the detergent tanks?

Yes, two tanks one for colours and one for whites, it works quite well dispensing automatically. Like the remote mobile app gives loads off options

Just checking.
It seems Miele HQ instruct retailers what to demonstrate.
The enamel finish, the noise level, the balanced one pound coin even on full spin and the washing of the rose on the delicates cycle.

They do cost more, but, unless the purse strings are very very tight, I'd always go for a Miele now that I've used one for over a decade. Used Bosch, Whirlpool, AEG, LG - none wash as well as a Miele.

Miele just sits there in the corner, not complaining and gets on with the job. Just needs a little TLC when it comes to being aware of limescale/maintenance washes to keep on top of things.

And are you locked in to using their detergents or can you use other brands? Obviously you can add your own detergents into the drum, but can you calibrate the machine for the tanks to be filled with supermarket available detergents? Does it sense the suds and decide if more is required? - 'Cause THAT would be kewl.
Wow! £729.00 at Currys.
Next cheapest is £650ish.

BF20 code doesn't seem to function though. Could OP confirm it's worked?

Bought a fridge/freezer from these guys a couple of years ago. Superb price meant I could buy very good brand at the price of crud being sold on the high street and still save money and with free home delivery - generally very impressed with the service I received from Hughes.

You can use your own liquid detergents, I have the replacement containers when needed, so far impressed with detergent from miele

Bearings eh?
Yeah. Bought a W8 series replacement on eBay after an engineer told me not to go near the new models for their inferior build. So beware!
Got her a Miele washing machine for Xmas last year and she loves it.

Even more so than the ironing board and vacuum cleaner I got her as gifts on previous Christmases.

Was a right PITA to wrap tho'!

uk.trustpilot.com/rev….ukAvoid Miele products, appalling reviews as above

There been which magazine brand off the year for the last 5 years, unlike hotpoint, candy, Indesit who are constantly been recalled for safety issues and fires
You have to question the Which recommendation

The reviews are from actual owners and my experience is similar, machine broke down within 2 years and Miele have refused to honour the warranty, having to take to the small claims court now
