if a mod had posted it then it would be at 300 now lol.its £20 cheaper than anyone else for a similar product.
I am considering buying this and the 9.99 dvd player for my daughters room, can anyone give me advice whether it is worth it?

Is the picture ok?

I bought her one of those Disney Princess TV/DVD combi's for 130 which is only a 13" screen so it would seem to make sense that I can get her an LCD TV for 40 pounds less but don't know about picture aspects and so on, I understand that it has one scart socket, though

its the best deal anywhere.its better to get them seperate rather than buying a combi just in case the dvd goes wrong or tv goes wrong.remember you will get a £10 voucher if you take your spend over £100.picture aspects etc are not an issue on small tv`s

Hadn't got that far in the planning yet!
Thanks SpecialK!
Good deal. Appreciate the heads up.
has it got a vga port to plug a pc into it? can someone let me know?
Do you get a £5 voucher if you spend over £50 in gift vouchers?

Idea is this. Buy £50 gift card vouchger, get £5 back. Buy the TV using the £50 voucher and get a second £5 voucher.

Use 2 x £5 vouchers to buy DVD player!

From the argos stie - the terms and conditions for the free voucher it state not when buying gift vouchers...

' 8. This offer is not available with the purchase of Argos gift vouchers. '

Shame as it was allowed last time i do believe..
your still getting a tv and dvd player for approx £85

No, it doesnt I'm afraid.

I got one of these last xmas, it's fine for what it is, and I'd say well worth £80.
Im no expert , but the picture on it looks fine to me.
Thanks for this . I just nipped into the Ashington branch and bought 2 [ 1 for a present ] and got a £10 voucher chucked in .Not bad for the money actually . Have been wanting a one for ages , but was going to get a one with built in Freeview . I've just set it up in the bedroom using my old On-Digi box and well pleased with the result .By the way , the DVD players were a sell out at the branch .I think the TV's will go quick too .
Thanks for this. Bought one from the Wigan Extra store. Wanted the DVD player too, but they didn`t have any. Well, actually they had 15, but ALL reserved! Never mind. Will log on tonight to see if any werent collected!
As a point of interest, they were happy to let me buy vouchers to take the subtotal over £100 to get my £10 voucher. But on the other hand, they wouldnt let me pay with a voucher i had left over in my wallet for £5.
Heat added. Nice Tv, Nice price
