Millets Waterproof Trousers £1 in store only (possibly not in all stores)

Found 31st Dec 2009Made hot 31st Dec 2009
Went into Millets Leicester and they were selling off most of their Peter Storm waterproof trousers for £1.00. Original prices were £37.99 and £34.99. These were at the front of the shop, staff member said they were selling them all off to make way for a new range. Staff member said that this price is what was on their central till systems so it should be nationwide but he wasnt sure. On their website it is still showing original prices. There were atleast 10 waterproof trousers left on display when I left.

Closed today

"there" " there" "there" = "their" "their" "their" !

Good deal though, IF you can find a Millets which hasn't closed down.

Probably better if you don't post, better still, just go away completely :x

This stock all had to be off the shelves by the 31st which is why it was reduced so drastically. It should not be on sale anywhere in store after that so when they re-open it won't be available to anyone. The staff have had a field day with these :-)

I love ebayers who come on here and gloat.but thanks for the info. At work mon il look for a person selling waterproof trousers x 7 for kids, then go on the taxmans website. Hahaha

There's nothing wrong in taking advantage of a deal and making a couple of quid!! I'd do it.

Well if everyone done it this website would be made completely redundant!

If somebody wants to go to the effort of selling 7 pairs of children's trousers on ebay, they have to convince themselves that's the way a decent person earns (literally) a few quid.

The person who posted the deal could have bought all the trousers and sold them to you on ebay themselves, but they didn't. They bought what they wanted and were courteous enough to let us all know a good product was available at a very low price.

This website is a way for people to share knowledge and spread consumer wealth, money grabbing scavengers and ebay parasites should go elsewhere.

If there's a good deal there's no harm in buying a bit extra to make some money. I feel people only get offended because they missed out on the deal themselves! If someone wants to do that it's entirely up to them and because they have they shouldn't be penalised for it on here!

Has anyone been to Millets today to confirm the 31st Dec cut off?
I can't imagine them binning because they haven't sold.
