This is one of the many Iceland products which still contains palm oil despite Iceland's very public promise last year to remove all palm oil from their own-brand products.

But instead of removing palm oil, they removed the "Iceland" branding from the product and kept the palm oil in.

Despicable move from Iceland and I haven't been back since.

They had lots frozen things today reduced in my local
Yum.
Strawberry and toffee also half price at 50p.
In all three flavours it's only the ones without Iceland branding on the box that are reduced. They removed their name last year so that there wouldn't be any Iceland branded products with palm oil in them. New stock with Iceland branding on no longer uses palm oil and is back to full price.
are these frozen?

Palming them of as not their own brand?
That’s why Millionaires go to Iceland
Heat for reasons of irony.

So they removed palm oil from 99.9% of products? Sounds almost worse then whose did nothing. Boycott!!
Both FULL price, at my local, got some 50p hot cross buns so stuff your cheap cheesecakes!

No, I think he's referring to the rather dubious business practice of stating that no own-brand products will contain palm oil, and then just removing the brand from the packaging to comply with this pledge. Even my rather lax compunctions find this a bit "off".
Not to be found at this price in Egham or Staines

Did you ask them to check the price at the checkout? It is marked at the old price in Iceland St Georges Retail Park, Leicester.

ya iceland always do, just near the exp, or manger deals from having to much stock of that line on hand if not selling well in that store, and im sure many other reason, so wouldnt be the same everywhere, not like the cheese cakes

i got a few packs of 50p burgers £2 normal price the other day when i was in my local one (tho would of only be a local only deal)
Is this deffo on offer in store? My local showed the old price label, but not sure if it means it's not valid or they just haven't changed the label yet. Didn't want to ask. Asked member of staff about the price of something else (no label) and he sighed and walked off without saying anything... then came back with the price that I later saw was shown on another shelf elsewhere. So hoping they were wrong on that one too... kinda hit and miss with their offers. Either there (no offer price shown in store) or the offer price isn't shown in store as it's online only.
37441852-jB2iV.jpgRegular price on label in Galashiels.
Might ("might") be cheaper and they just don't alter the price on the label. I remember a cheap pizza deal that showed £1.50 and it was 50p.... Dang it...now I need to go out again
Was charged £1.50 for this in hastings

If it doesn't say "Iceland" on the box (and those don't) it should go through the till at half price.
50p for strawberry or toffee. 75p for millionaires.

If it's Iceland branded, it's not reduced.
It's only the ones that look (almost) identical bit don't have the Iceland name on. (They have no brand on the front and Coppenwrathe and Wreisse on the back.) They're old stock that contain palm oil so Iceland removed their brand name until they could source ones without it. The new ones are Iceland branded, with no palm oil.

If you can find a store with any old stock they'll go through at the reduced price whatever the price says on the shelf.

They removed palm oil from most of their stuff and you'll boycott and go somewhere who didn't promise anything and have palm oil in everything?

Did they actually remove palm oil from their products, or did they just remove the word "Iceland" from the packaging to sidestep their own promises?

They removed it from most of their stuff. How many products do they sell? A lot. They took their name off 17 things. They sell maybe a few hundred own brand in my local shop. Go to Sainsbury's/Tesco and see their palm oil removal programme..... Oh wait

And for the record, they went about it wrong. They shouldn't have taken their name off it, just made a public acknowledgment that they missed their self imposed voluntary deadline and their working on these few items.

But they still have removed it from probably 99% of their products.
