Or do it the old way... amazon.co.uk/s/r…ter

To spend £72 on something that only takes seconds anyway is a joke. Unless of course you have people around and want to show them your shaven hole?
is anyone else thinking this looks like the thing from alien "chestbursting scene" lol

If your doing it on a regular basis, i imagine this is a big time saver! but otherwise, normal pipe cutters will suffice

Bit of a boys toy.....but useless if you want to cut an existing pipe in a confined space....why carry an expensive lump round like this when the small manual cutters do the job in seconds ?
You try swinging a normal pipe cutter in a confined space and see what fun you have. With this you can just push it on and the cutting head rotates. If you get called to a repair in a corner this could be a home saver. IMHO:{
I have to agree with both opinions -Unlikely to be of benefit to the casual DIY'er, but this could be a life saver for an existing pipe, you can't rotate a conventional pipe cutter in a confined space. Could also can the hands of a plumber doing a fit which involes a lot of cutting so might well be an investment for a tradesman.

I HAVE used my oscillating cutting tool, bosch 180, to good effect for cutting such a pipe, and it leaves a great finish and little mess or fuss in confined spaces.

A great deal imho, if you buy a decent set of 15.22 & 25mm pipe slices it will set you back nearly £50 so for a plumber like myself it is a no brainer.
Tradesman tool at a really great price - unfair to be cold at his price.......
