Thanks for posting - excellent kit and very good price
What would you folk recommend between this and the following DeWalt twin pack at Toolstation? Smaller battery but the DeWalt is brushless.

I have brushless DeWalt but in this comparation I'll go for Milwaukee for battery.
You will make more jobs from 4.0 Ah batteries.

I bought a Makita a few months ago.. wish I'd waited as the reviews are awesome for this... Price is awesome too.
Brushed !!
No way.
Very good price and very decent set
I paid £239 for this and thought it was a good deal the impact driver is seriously powerful and the batteries last for ages.

depends what youre using it for mate...im not an expert on tools i just do quite a bit of DIY at home. i use a brushless dewalt impact and drill both with 2.0ah batteries. i just used one battery with my drill to build about 7 wardrobes a full chest draw countless holes in the drawers and the walls and ive still got one bar indicator out of three on just the one battery i used. yes the 3.0ah will give a lot more power but i did all that and the 2.0ah was fine. what also helped was the 2.0ah is smaller and lighter making the drill alot more versatile. i only purchased my set about 6 weeks ago i was deciding on the same things... i went for lower battery and brushless instead. u can always buy bigger batteries if u need..but u cant exactly go brushless once u go brushed.
