ok have spent 30 mins trying to make sense of endless pages of red and black in an effort to decifer model numbers, differences between them and approx value. Its a fecking mindfield... the impact driver alone: variants of this are M18BLID , M18BLID2 or the one on offer here M18CBLID … gah.

To be fair there doesnt appear to be a huge difference between them and the M18CBLID does appear to be one of the better ones. There are still better ones available from the manufactuer.... such as the "FUEL" varients but this is near top spec.

Now the batteries alone … two 5.0Ah Li-Ion Batteries are a rarity. Many places do them with 2.0Ah or 4. But 5 is big, and they are much more expensive typically.

So for the money, with those batteries... this is a corking deal. Heat.

How much?? 😧😧
I think that's an OK price especially for milwaukee. They are more expensive than most other brands but those who have them say they are worth the extra. You get 2 big batteries as well. If I had the money I would be buying this set, although if you know where they are cheaper I'd love to know where 😁

I got the Fuel drill/driver set off eBay for just over 300 last time they had a 10% off event.
Superb kit.
I’ve got the 402C version with 2x4.0ah batteries which was £229.99 end of last year. The extra £20 for 5.0ah batteries is a no brainer - definitely worth it. Great deal.
I have the drill and it's great.
The
Battery indicator is a very nice addition
I'm liking the look of this but is this

A better option? It seems more powerful and is lots cheaper?

This is what I actually have even though I posted this Milwaukee deal.

It's an amazing drill. Won't let you down and if you a DIYer like myself the 2ah batteries are ideal. Light but last hours. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Also I researched drills for about 2 months none stop before making my purchase so it was a very thoroughly researched decision haha.

Thanks for this, I'll probably go for the de walt then, like the look of the milwaukee but de walt seems like great value.

No problem. Milwaukee for me is a Brand that they market really well.

However I'm not a huge fan of their tools, I use Milwaukee at work and I personally don't like them.

You won't be disappointed with DeWalt.
My dewalt just packed in after 6 years if hard use so have had my monies worth! Was on a third set of batteries as they seem to fail quickly although very goid out the box. Seeing this after much research i treated myself to this deal which is extremely well priced given the battery power, top brand and warranty. Friends in the trade suggested Millwaukee and they have used both brands. I intend to extend purchase a bare body grinder also as 2 batteries will be plenty for day to day diy. If i get another 6 years out of this kit i will be happy
this kit after multiple searches is selling up to £450 elsewhere and cheapest comparison was £275 as at today. Dewalt comparison slightly cheaper but lesser warranty and very small battery compared to mwkee if youre doing a like for like
should be a good investment. I like having decent gear
