I have replaced all my Snap-on and Bosch impact wenches with Milwaukee wenches and I think Milwaukee is worth every penny and this deal is cheap, hot from me.
nut busting torque! love this impact wrench. I have no use for this but respect the stats on this tool.

big question is Milwaukee vs makita? I know makita don't make an equivalent of this but do you think their drill drivers / impact drivers are similar in quality?
milwaukee is, in my opinion, better than makita. All Milwaukee power tools are high quality professional tools, makita make a range from DIY to professional with varying quality. Milwaukee also offer 5 year warranty.

I test power tools as part of my job. I always find Makita to be poor in comparison to the other main brands, i.e Dewalt, Hilti, Milwaukee.
I'm wary of American tools which cost twice as much in UK. Makes me feel they are half the value for money. Used Milwaukee impact bits and were rubbish, so wouldn't trust anything they make.
The ingersoll rand w7150 also has 1491NM nut busting torque . I was torn between this and the IR , both excellent.

what is the value of a good wench
I have the DEWALT DCF899P2 XR Brushless Impact Wrench 18v 2 x 5.0Ah Li-Ion
And it's a great bit of kit , a lot cheaper then that too .
Do you have to pay by the hour?
Heat for researching it but same price on lots of sites so not really a 'hot deal' There's a reputable seller on eBay selling on here m.ebay.co.uk/itm…368 for £20 less brand new with vat invoice but only 2 so be quick!
I have this gun as I use it for installing car lifts and can only praise it. My god does it have some grunt. I haven't met a bolt/nut it won't budge. (just watch your wrists). I have been told by a trusted source the milwauukee is rebranded kango. It might seem a little steep on price but is 1000% worth it.

Thanks. I saw it but it comes with one battery and no case, I thought this deal is better for that.
Pro bit of kit. But the DIYer will vote this down, as they will see something in Aldi that looks the same for 30 quid, and drives those inch wood screws into plasterboard just fine.
The warranty says it all. If you want tools that don't fail you have to spend the money. I have the 3/4" drive version of this, bought with 2 4ah batteries, case, free gun boot, free hat, drinks bottle ect ect over a year ago for £450 from m j plastics in Sittingbourne. And that was this most powerful version. Be aware of what you are buying when looking at these, many less powerful models on the market of the same 18v Milwaukee impact gun. Plus really is worth checking out your local stockiest for matched prices and freebies you wouldn't get buying on line.
