I bought these last time they were on offer for use with my impact driver. I smashed four on the first day, they seem to shatter so easily, they were fine in a combi drill but couldn’t handle the torque of the impact driver.
Great bits and a good deal, just don’t expect them to last with an impact driver!
Milwaukee have sold out, same as Makita. Just cheap tat now. I find the Bosch are the best these days.

I didn’t know that, their stuff used to be great. Ive gone back to the erbauer bits which are unbreakable and take ages to wear down. Ill avoid Milwaukee from now on.

Aw nuts. I've still got a few abracs bits left from toolstation and was hoping for something better.

I was going to ask why anybody would want 25 identical bits but now I know.
Just didn't get away with these when I previously bought them, seemed to get a lot of spin out. Dont think I'll bother

Now I'm depressed. I just bought the drill/impact driver twin set with 4ah batteries. I was, tbh, very impressed. They are much more heavy duty than the b&d stuff I've had in the past.

The tools are still good, probably the best infact. It's the doorbuster accessories they sell that are mass produced that are no better than the others out there.
Screwfix do an erbauer impact driver bit set with various sizes often on offer at £4.99

Good set.

Phew. Sounds like Erbauer may be the way forward for me to get accessories for them.

Erbauer are a kingfisher brand (Screwfix and b&q). Nothing special them either. Go for Bosch or DeWalt extreme.
I ordered some off Amazon the other night for the same price, along with a good fold out festool ruler for £4

Thanks. I was looking at bit-holders the other day and was shocked by the price of some. Eg Wera stuff for 10 to 15 quid.
Just don't bother with this overpriced brand.
Milwaukee is the worst brand from the so called "top brands".
Nice shiny tools for apprentice and this is it.

Just get this. You'll not regret

I looked at Wera too but their prices are high! Took a punt on Erbauer and was not disappointed. Only reason I had to buy more was I lost them!

Any insight on what the best drill bits to get for an ssd would be. I want something that will last, even if a little pricier initially???

Tired of getting cheap bits that dont last

I use the cheap Makita ones. Only about a fiver a set and only have 5 bits but I tend to only use 6&8mm and occasionally 10.

Makita D-03888 SDS Plus Drill Performance Set (5-Piece) - SILVER amazon.co.uk/dp/B0037S1NYE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_p8ewEbECA0T2Y

You can see here I last bought these about two years ago and they're still going strong.
