The legendary George Cole plays Arthur Daley, an "entrepreneur"" and king of the dodgy deal. If there's money to be made Arthur's interested! Arthur needs a bodyguard – enter Terry McCann (Dennis Waterman); just out of prison and in need of work, Terry becomes Arthur's business associate and "Minder".

Drinking in the Winchester Club run by Dave "The Barman" Harris (Glynn Edwards), driving the Capri and chatting up the ladies, Arthur and Terry cook up one half-baked scheme after another and their relationship strains to the limit, but ultimately they remain the best of friends.

When Terry finally tires of Arthur and escapes to Australia, Arthur takes his nephew Ray Daley (Gary Webster) under his wing, and so begins a whole new chapter of wheeling and dealing the Arthur Daley way!

The most entertaining, tightly scripted, inventively comic and sharply directed drama series of all time.

Loved Minder...

Says a lot about the show when you can say 'he's a bit Arthur Daley' and everyone knows what you mean!
Stick a VAT in there for me Dave, and put it on the slate.....
Minder is a slightly better comedy than OFAH in my opinion.
Bonnet de douche.....

I think its been said in the past that ofah copied some of the storylines from minder
Minder on the Orient Express is brilliant. At the end when Terry and Arthur are smiling together. Priceless.
Classic series that had a great script.

"Isn't that illegal Arfur ?"
"Only technically Terry"
its £45
My dad's favourite.
£45
Fantastic series, great nostalgia and amazing chemistry between Cole and Waterman, unfortunately it all went downhill when they changed it and brought in Gary Webster!

I think they did but I am not 100% sure on the time line, there's one episode where Arthur was selling dodgy coats that were too big for the punters so scrunched it up at the back, Del Boy did the same thing!
Price would have gone up at 2pm when the sale ended.
Was going to go for this until I noticed price has gone up to £45 : (

Both great, but I think Minder stands up better today. While the Gary Webster years were not as good 'Terry!', they were much, much better than the later Only Fools' specials, after they (mistakenly) brought it back following what had been the perfect ending.
Ello Arfur, ows ers indoors?

I was in a London market ( Petticoat Lane ) during the late 60's when sheepskin coat/jackets were all the rage and actually saw that happen to a punter,it's a perfect fit says the barrow boy!!!!

Mr Chisholm, I'm as clueless as you are...
Blo#dy typical, have been after this set for months, set myself a £30 limit..... 'Er indoors would have been well happy at £26!
Wonder if they will ever release blu ray versions like they did with The Professionals?
Deal Expired at 14.00 yesterday.
Forgot how good this show was ... some of the one liners were absolutely brilliant.

Shame there is nothing on TV nowadays remotely close to this.

I'm amazed in this era of prequels such as Endeavour and the like, that there isn't a 'Young Arthur' type series...
Young Arthur would be brilliant!!
