I thought they were meant to but it doesn't look like they will now. Although last months were revealed on a Thursday so they could do the same this month too.

Mojang is working with Sony Computer Entertainment "to enable upgrade from the Blu-ray disc version of Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition." Saves will be transferrable between editions, so players will "be able to craft at home on your Playstation 3, then continue on the bus/toilet with your Playstation Vita." All downloadable content will also be transferable between systems.

Also worth noting that you can upgrade the PS3 version to the PS4 version for about 3 quid, so for like £15 you're getting Minecraft on all 3 platforms.

I thought it was cross buy on the us psn store
Purchased the ps3 version a while back for $19.99 (£11.77) after the developers mentioned the free ps vita version in August and the $4.99 (£2.94) upgrade for the ps4 version it was a no brainer
Total cost sub £15 for all 3 versions

Will the Vita version still be accessible though if you're buying it using a US account? Obviously you can reset your Vita and sign in using your US account but if you don't you can't access it right?

I dont get Minecraft. It's like we're going back to the Zx Spectrum.

Happy Days! Much better than yearly updates of war games and football titles...

I paid £11.33 using amazon + Flubit. Good price though
