Enjoy the classic look and feel of the Minesweeper game as you try to mark the mines without uncovering one. You use the numbers of a revealed square to tell you how many mines are next to that square. Using logic, you figure out where the mines are and mark them. Watch out! If you make a mistake, a mine will explode!

People actually paid money to play Minesweeper?!

Milennials

Exactly. People too young to have been brought up on Windows 95!
It is good trick to advertise app on UK deals. Put some price on app and then offer it free of charge
I heard it was going to be the AAA offering from Microsoft for February Xbox Games with Gold
Perhaps offering this free in the hope you will look at their other titles - though got to wonder how many people these days would even be able to work out how.
There's free minesweeper and lots of other games in the ad-free "Simon Tatham's Puzzles". The UI isn't as polished but it's a decent enough way to kill time! play.google.com/sto…les

😄 yeah though for a long time I was much the same. It’s much like picross or sudoku in that you basically learn little logic patterns that enable you to solve it, quite addictive once you do learn.

it's a simple game

open a box and it tells you how many surrounding boxes have a mine (of the 8 immediately around the box numbered), it's then a process of elimination to work out which box that one will be based on other numbers saying how many around them have a mine in.

I tried this last time it was free, it was 5 mins of fun then uninstalled again, but memories of the good ol days

Leisure suit larry anyone?
