Are these in store yet?
Nice looking bottle of aftershave that.
Manufactured by Landmann ;-)
Mind the cooking space is only around 27 cm so really suited for cooking for 2 people
Great price for a table top one
I think I’ve seen Costco selling similar last weekend. Blue in colour perhaps.
Immediately assumed this was some hipster type bottle of gin! How wrong was I?!
goood price, they are quite a good quality!
Anyone know of any deals on larger variants of this? I missed the aldi one at £350 a couple of weeks ago
I’ve never heard of and don’t know what these are but for some reason I feel I want one.
I have the large Aldi one , tempted to get this to replace my Weber but might be a little too small , either way seems a good deal
From what I've read, the small ceramic ones such as this don't tend to be great for slow cooks/smoking which means you don't have the flexibility which is the main reason for getting a Kamado over a regular barbecue.

Probably one to miss.
anyone know how much these weigh? Looking for something small for festivals - usually just take something really cheap and leave it behind but that seems a waste if I can get something that will last
Looks good, is it worth the bother over a STD charcoal BBQ for 2 people?

Very, very heavy! My husband got one today and hand-carried it back from the store. He said never again! Not really suitable for festivals
Bought one today, small, heavy and good quality. Fits together easily. Top air vent leaks slightly so may be hard to get precise temperature control. Probably space for 2 steaks. Only one in Local Lidl.
For £79.99 I took a punt, I've not got a ceramic BBQ and would eventually like a larger one so a great starter. Nice spring hinge, seems well made I have added a heat spreader and currently letting it settle in for a heat test (about 8-10 briquettes, lit with a lighter below, sort of minion I suppose).

It's a cake cooling rack hanging on homemade hooks (stainless) with a plate wrapped in foil. Having never used ceramic before I totally overshot the temp I wanted, so for my first real run I'll shall close the vents down much sooner.

Oh yes, I'm used to steel where a change in the vents almost instantly changes temp. I think when I have a real cook I'll start low then get to temp, rather than fighting to get them down!

Good call on building up. I lagged my Texas smoker. But still bad for heat loss compared to ceramic
After overshooting again, it took me about 1hr to get back to a temp I wanted, but since then it's been pretty stable with little vent changes required (I have a pork shoulder on).

Bought one of these in Clapham Lidl, anyone know where you can get a heat deflector played to fit it?
This is the Landmann Grill Chef Mini Kamado (box confirms) on sale at Homebase for £150 and elsewhere generally £125 to £150.

I made one from a small cake rack and steel wire hangers, then an upturned plate wrapped in foil. I have seen some nice ones on another Facebook page though. Seems to be getting a big following. This is the group with lots of followers/users. facebook.com/gro…ke/

Agreed approx 20kg
Bought one of these myself. Easy to carry to the trolley and car. It's lit right now and I am more than satisfied with it. Keeping a steady low n slow temp and mine is not leaking at all. Have folded up some foil and placed that underneath the grate (fill two thirds of the area) for indirect cooking.
The enamel paint is cracked but I suspect this will be the same for all of the models and won't affect cooking.
Note, the well packed bbq had an assembly kit which contained a screw driver and spanner. Bonus.
I bought the last one from our local store - unfortunately defective with the lower bowl diameter of 26cm being too small to take the metal grill which measured 26.5cm - gutted as was really interested in the cooking style of this, especially at such a good price point.

That is unlucky. Couldn't you get a replacement?

Not this time - Lidl custome services were pretty good and rang around the local stores but all gone. Not the end of the world
Saw these in my local today. Very tempted. Saw them when we were camping down in Wales last week but couldn't fit one in the car with all the camping gear. Couldn't see them when I got home so thought well it's fate and I've saved £80. Today they have them......
