An excellent price reduction, but I can imagine and deduce its effectiveness.

it says was £69 not £99

perfect for my new built kitchen

I've got this and it is surprisingly good on wooden floors. definitely worth £40.

Heat added,

What the heck. I have laminate and tile floors downstairs and I am a lazy so and so. Lets give it a go.

I've purchased one, thanks Sparks. If it picks up dog hair it'll be worth its weight in gold!

No problem, I hope it works for you

Mine does up and down the stairs and everything!

my wife purchased one and we found it rubbish. pushes dirt and fluff around rather than sucking up. wouldn't recommend

Does this charge itself up?

Gee thanks. I meant does it drive back to charge itself. seems it doesn't though.

These are terrible. Battery life is appalling, need to plug it in manually, doesn't do carpets, or anything with the slightest bit of resistance.

I also got mine for £36 (40, but 10% student discount) from maplins about 2 years ago, and it was the standard price.

picked one up today - works really well on the hard wood floor, even got under the fridge / washing machine..

No good on carpets, but not bad for £40

How do you plug something in UNmanually, and if it's as bad as you claim, why didn't you send it back?

this is no dyson, I bought one with the intention of just using it for a robotics platform, but was impressed at how well it works given the price. if you've got £200 for proper one then get that, if not then go for it, it's better than a £40 robot vacuum should be.

A couple of people were bickering in the comments about whether or not it did it automatically. Might as well explicitly say it.

I did send it back. This is a complete waste of money.

Sounds good. Mines coming today so will test it out

For anyone who hasn't got one of these. It is well worth £40. Picks up so much. Does also do carpet. I took the mop off and finds it doesn't get stuck as much. Well impressed!

It does. It's remarkably good for 40 quid! It takes a while to do one room but it beats getting the big heavy vacuum out every day. It does pick up dog hair but you have to be careful that the dust bin doesn't get full and the inlet hole doesn't get clogged. I recommend using it every day if you have moulting pets so that fur doesn't build up too much. It seems to go in completely random directions after it bumps into furniture so there's no method to its cleaning, but hey, for under £40, it's a steal.
