Found 16th Jul 2012
Mini rose house plants for £1 at Morrisons, available in a variety of colours. Ideal for brightening up any home or as a present.

Found these in my local Morrisons today not sure if they apply to all stores. They were originally £2, remember these being around £3+ last year and now at £1 for me its a real bargain. Good strong little plant, in about a 6cm pot, height is about 20cm and with a good bloom. The colours I saw available were; red, white, yellow, orange, baby pink and a purple pink

For those wanting more information, the website on the outer package is bmroses.nl/ind…php but most is in another language.

Thanks OP. Might try my local branch. Below taken from the website.

Treating pot roses
•A pot rose likes it very much in full sunlight because it loves a lot of light.
•If the potting plants are standing in full sunlight they need a lot of water. In summer daily; In winter twice a week.
•Three weeks after purchasing you must give the potting- plant a little bit extra nutrition and repeat that regularly (twice a month).
•After the flowering period you must cut the branches back until av. 2 inch higher the top of the pot.
•You can use the pot roses also as a terrace plant, take care you give sufficient water.
•You can also plant them in the garden, a little frost is harmless.
•A last advice: If you think it's boring the repeating watering of the pot rose, you can repot them in a bigger pot size; the roots have more water reservoir so you don't have to irrigate them so often.

Remembering this treating rules, you will join your purchased potrose ultimately.
Good luck and have fun!

Bloody hell, I had better not kill it then!

Any idea how tall and wide these plants actually grow to?

Haha, what?!

Also, do these need direct sunlight or just to be kept in a sunny room?
