I would say that my Anker e1 astro gets pretty close to stated capacity of 5200.

Dave_dave6916th Aug

on the link it says "Capacity Range (mAh) 7500-10000" lower …on the link it says "Capacity Range (mAh) 7500-10000" lower down the page it says "The real output capacity 6900 mAh"

To be fair at least it states that. You will almost never get more than 70% of stated capacity from any portable power bank, no matter who makes it.

Thanks but any explanation? I was just about to buy

Battery doesn't last long
Takes a while for it to charge
Solar charging barely works

Window glass blocks a lot of UV. Depending on the cells in use and the type and thickness of the glass you may be losing a lot of the power of the sun...

Quoted power is never the actual truth. I found an explanation here

Guess it's like 'up to' speeds for broadband..?

Do you get a white stand for the white console

Will this make my xbox an xbox one S?

I've stood mine the wrong way up vertically without the stand and don't have any problems, There's not much heat and it reads discs fine that way up.

yes they are

mracerimmer

you can't stand it up without a stand as you block the air vents.

How? Are the air bets on the side of the box? I stood mine up fine without a stand. Just a bit risky. They should have provided a stand with all imo.

The stand is good, got mine a year or so ago for about £4. So effectively paying same price for a fake controller, as you would original. Awful deal.

£7.14 at gearbest at the moment for the u80 which is the upgraded model, with better battery life. Although that is from the China warehouse so won't be here for Christmas.

The net is full of these sub £9.... ice cold at £17+!!

If they were half price of an official one I'd agree. But they seem to be a few quid less than the real deal.

I'd rather pay that little extra. Or buy a 2nd hand official for roughly the same price.

Must admit I do have to laugh at the tales of doom surrounding Chinese LED lamps.

Capacitive dropper circuits are pretty safe, as long as you can't touch the SMD LEDs themselves. Poly caps nearly always fail open, or gradually reduce in capacitance over time leading to flashing LEDs (at which point the cap can be replaced). There's usually a low-wattage resistor in series which will fail in the event of an overload, providing a decent approximation to a fuse, and you have the circuit breaker in any case.

The chances of a Chinese LED bulb doing anything more exciting than going bang and releasing a bit of smoke are ridiculously remote.
Edited by: "jasejames" 27th May 2015

Might as well buy them on ebay if they are designed in China, you can pick up cheapo 9w led bulbs for £1.50 each for the proper white ones on ebay.

Bit of a crap shoot if the electronics inside last more than a few months though, although the last ones I bought have lasted more than 6 months which is still cheaper than replacing halogen bulbs, and at the rate which LEDs are advancing it doesn't bother me that much.

As for burning your house down, usually capacitor or LED overheats and dies and you are left with flashing bulb, there is not all that much that can go wrong, I'd probably not advice not touching the thing whilst it's turned on though but that goes without saying really.
Edited by: "edwardecl" 27th May 2015

Aren't all these bulbs made in China?

if you want to burn your house down, knock yourself out..!!
I would only ever buy from a UK supplier.

If it takes 2 weeks to deliver I suspect they are sent from China. In that case not good at all
