Heat given for price, but they are poor quality, flimsy. Ordered one the other week and the wheels just fell apart when it was put together.

Ended up spending a bit more for this one: Metaltex Faro 3-Tier Foldable Litreaundry Drier with Wheels https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004SH6IFM/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_bwgtvb0FJTJMY

Its the second one we've bought. The first one still going strong after 7 years.

Too flimsy by far.

I love my one of these- yep they aren't going to last forever but for the price compromise they are perfect

The Ikea ones are good quality. I got one from 10 years ago still going strong. On the cheap ones, the plastic flakes off.

This is a good design though.

add something for £1.01 more from homewares and use the code 'home20' to get 20% off. cheapest i can find quickly are 4pk glasses at £1.99.

total £20.78 after discount.

Nice call mug51

40m is too tall for my house, sadly. Good value for money though. Perhaps consider installing it in the centre of your community, for all to come and dry their clothes on?

Ha ha, love it!

Like the look of it and had been looking at something that holds as much but after reading the reviews I think I will pass as on average it is not recommended

"My luck night" on a friday wouldnt have a Minky 40m Tower Indoor Clothes Airer in sight, unless there was a pair of some birds wet knickers thrown on it

This one does look good in the pictures, it's a shame there isn't more than 1 review on there to assure me before spending double what I was going to on a standard airer...might have to take a punt and rely on Amazon CS if it's rubbish

For all those who keep saying "it's too "flimsy" etc just remind yourself you're hanging clothing on there and NOT thick carpet!! I've used one before and it's absolutely a god send hence I bought one for my new home. Anyways, those if you who are hating or have given a bad review, I guess it's because you didn't FIX it correctly, hence the flimsiness!

Wet towels weigh more than wet carpet

If it helps I've had mine for years and it's brilliant. Holds loads of washing and folds away flat. (If it's ever not in use).

I've had mine for quite a few years & still working fine. Only problems have been from my anger being taken out on it.

Totally agree. I hang 2 bath towels at a time along with hand towels and it holds them no problem. best I've ever had!

Erm, not sure why the attack, but I guess that's who you are. I ordered the one in the OP and when attempting to install the wheels, two wheels fell apart before I even attached them to the frame. I'm glad you are happy with the Minky, I'll stick with the one (two, even) I've bought thanks.
The Minky is flimsy compared to the one bought to replace it. Yes, it costs more, but I bought the same one 7 years ago and its still going strong. And yes, I have hung wet towels and (small) rugs off it and it still holds up. I can also hang a lot more hangers off it, unlike the Minky that only has those weird attachments on the corners.

Found the Faro Plus 3 tier for £27.45 at The Range, so the extra quality doesn't come much more expensive that the Minky. I've also reviewed it on Amazon, something I rarely do.

Excellent, thanks very much for that. I searched Google for Metaltex faro but didn't come up with any recognised shops that were cheaper. Now to test the two Amazon recommendations against the two poor range reviews (_;)

Gulp, the pressure lol. The Argos reviews on the Minky make for interesting reading.

Weird, I've found that all the people replying to that comment sound more bitter.

been using my argos/minky one for 4 years and not had a problem. not really flimsy at all although i havent tried the others. Also, when its all open up, its structural integrity keeps it together.

Wheels could be better, as they are plastic.

I own this. This is better than the Amazon link as it has 4 tiers, not 3. This isn't German precision engineering, but I've had it for a year and it still looks good as new. The mechanism for locking up each rack isn't the best, but if you open two levels at one time the tension will keep it open.

Also it's really easy to dismantle and you can halve the height within 2 minutes if space is an issue, or if you are going to be moving flats soon (which I had to do shortly after buying this).

So, you've owned the one in the Amazon link then? I also found the Minky one easy to dismantle, it just fell apart.

My mum has this. It is a poor quality, awful airer. I would not recommend it

Nope, but it has 4 tiers instead of 3, which is important in terms of air drying space. Mine hasn't fallen apart and I'm still using it more or less everyday for more than a year now.

Is the offer over? When I add to basket it stays at £29.99
