A lot of Tesco deals are store specific - but at least your post will help those local to the store as it's a good price for 'Minky'

They’ll be one of these in the entire country.. yet more ‘clever’ marketing by this god-awful company!

Do you need a license for this minkey?(gets funnier every time)

A customer finding something instore and sticking on here (probably fruitlessly) can hardly be called "Marketing"

I think you’re missing the entire point. They deliberately reduce something down by x % in one store to attract copious amounts of people... obviously. And yes that is ‘marketing’

I think in this case you’ll find it is more a fire sale stock clearance. They price like this to get rid of stock quick to free up space.

They don’t actively market it anywhere. There is never a guarantee that the general public will even hear about some of these reductions.

I wonder if Minky also has a Skanky line of products.

I'm not missing your point, you're just wrong.

Tesco have in no way "marketed" this product, the only person who has marketed it is the OP by posting on here, a great help to anyone in the area who managed to grab one.

It's an instore reduction for an end of line item with limited stock availability, not advertised by the retailer, most likely to clear out remaining items prior to new ones coming in. So, not marketing of any variety.

... which people always do on here. Duh.
