I never understand how if you go directly to the website of a lot of companies that their own stock is more expensive than buying it elsewhere,you'd think they'd sell it cheaper if you bought it direct,it's odd.

If they did that then distributors wouldn't stock their products or discount even deeper and dilute the margin and perceived value of the product.
