Just to avoid confusion as there is two lines (as seen in picture) you only get 15m length x2.

got the single from Makro offer (single is better price at Makro double better at Amazon)... anyhoo really surprised how good it is only gripe is you having it high enough not to droop but then you can only just reach it or low and reachable but risk too low a droop... its all advanced mathematics chez Jough

I have to stand on something to set mine up X)

I paid £6 for this in Sainburys last week.

Thanks

Surely the 2 lines running parallel stop the breeze reaching one side of you're sheets? Correct me if i'm wrong i'm a clothes line novice

Very good item, bought one a few months ago.

Its 12 pounds online.

I have had one of these for a few years. It started to get stretched out after a few months and wouldn't retract properly.

I am not sure if you are supposed to do anything to maitain your Minky properly, but they are of pretty much of zero use once they have been stretched out.

Saw this in Sainsbury today for £3.20

run them to opposite sides of your far wall

mind you, they need to start really high up as they droop when heavy sheets are put on!

[Inspector Clouseau] You have a 15m minky that dries your clothes?!? oO

Well, it made me laugh anyway...

I bought one of these about 4/5 years ago (from somewhere like Wilko or Lidl I think) and I must say it has worked really well.

We don't have any problems with it stretched or not retracting and it works the same now as it did 4 years ago. When we moved house we took it with us and before I put it up again I managed to throw away the bracket. I was very surprised to find I could buy a replacement part direct from minky for virtually nothing.

However it is not perfect, the blue thing at the end of one of the lines came off rather easily, which was fixed by reattaching it and putting a knot in it. Also I have found that the plastic underneath which is meant to hold the line taut does not do a great job, again this is easily fixed by wrapping it in a different way.

For £7.50 I don't think you can go wrong especially if you have limited space and don't want to keep a line out all year, and lets face it every year seems to have less and less dry days for putting clothes out so why have a fixed line

Hot thanks

Hot ordered

I have one of these - was £11 from Sainsbury's. Previously I had a single one, which worked better - the spring recoil on the double isn't as good.

Just Ordered thanks hot

Are you describing the clothesline or your wife?

It says £11.91 now.... how do you get the £7.50 deal?

Can't you use a prop or am I missing something.

We always use a prop with ours - I've got two (not this make) and I find they last about 2 years before they need replacing - still better than a fixed line in my opinion

15m - is that 45ft or 5ft? My fingers are tired and I can't google it! If 15m is 5ft then I'm voting COLD!! However, if 15m is 45ft then I'm still voting COLD as someone bought this for £3.20 at Sainsbury. However, if 15m is 100ft then I'm voting HOT as my garden is 100ft (actually 90ft but rounded of). This would make the Sainsbury's deal hotter though and I'm gonna order one from Amazon and buy 2 from Sainsbury's!!

It's 49.21ft, otherwise going by the maths I'd be over 17.5metres tall.

If this deal gets much hotter some jealous poster will have been paid by Sainsbury's to take it away.

They also make fantastic dog toys. My Jack Russell spends hours jumping up trying to catch the end of the line as it retracts. A mere mention of the words "washing line" sends him into fits of excitement.

I don't know if Minky is any better than the ones you have but I've had mine years,2 doesn't seem long to last.I don't know if it makes a difference that I don't leave it out at all either,I take it off the wall and put it in my shed when not in use.
