great film....nice price aswell for the spec ed.

Please remember to make your thread titles as clear as possible. "Minority Report 2-disc Definitive Edition - £3 instore at Tesco" would be better.

That's unpossible! :w00t:

My big Tesco is on the other half of my town. The closest I have is a Metro in the centre, which only offers a limted array of titles.

Available in Tesco Derry - Lisnagelvin - not that large a store, got a copy about two weeks ago.

heres hoping that tesco grimsby has stock. :). always nice to have a special looking DVD case and TBH the movie wasn't to bad in the end.

I love this film and watched it again 2 days ago, but I'm pretty sure that aside from being in a tin box, this 'definitive' edition is no different from the 2-disc edition that is already out there.

any conplaints about the quality of the copy? mine is very contrasty like in the movie 300 and the colours are muted I have watched it on tv before and i'm sure it wasnt like this.

No that's how it's supposed to look.

If I remember my film studies correctly it's a process called bleach bypass which gives the film a drained look with little colour. I'm struggling to think of another film that does it although Seven might be one.

The game Gears of War goes for the same effect. Basically they're visions of a future where life can be grim so they suck the colour out, well it is grim for Anderton anyway, what with his estranged wife, missing/dead son, drug problem and career under threat.
