Tricky one......

There is currently one on Amazon (Granted with a free suction cup) for £299.99

There was a deal on here for £148.44 with a code a few months back.

Seems like a good price to me for a Mira shower.

Designed with a limescale resistant showerhead for durability and featuring 4 shower spray modes, the Mira Orbis+ 9kw electric shower is easy to maintain and use. An efficient way to take bathe, electric showers only heat the water that you use and it still works if the boiler is off.

Do new houses not come with showers these days? No wonder the market fell on its ass

Hopefully they are already aware of the poor performance of electric showers especially in the winter.

Electric showers are perfectly adequate, especially higher kw ones. Also a good back-up in case of boiler breakdowns.

nabbed one from kingston as backup, cheers op. There is no shower head though :s ...Anyone else get one in the box ? It does look a lot better in real life.

edit: there is supposed to be one oh no.

ha

I bought one of these a while back for £170. I can honestly say it was a bargain at that price. The shower is powerful, its got a clock, and the light acts well as a night light in my bathroom. It also has a temperature indicator, which remains stable.

Gutted just reserved one only to find out my inlet is on the right hand side.Gutted back to square one.Hot deal though

got this and works a treat
well worth it

Can it be fitted with from an inlet on the right hand side or am I being simple?

Yes, "adequate" is the word. They are indeed a good backup to a boiler though.

I'd be surprised if they couldn't - most of them are pretty adaptable.

Cheers for the reply.Might just buy it and see.Worth it for that price and it seems everyone rates them.

Looks like the water inlet is only on one side:

Sell it for £140

Thanks OP, this is an excellent deal (RRP is something like £400)
I've just had the last one from Hanley this morning.

Not had a Mira before but from studying the components used it looks to be a much better shower than anything from Triton, the heater is much bigger.

The looks are a bit marmite, but it has a clock!
I was going to go with a thermostatic unit, but at this price it's a steal.

No the water inlet is on the left. The pipe can be connected from the top or bottom and from behind but all on the left. And it's an excellent shower,
