I liked the first one on PC and never got round to buying this one. Not sure as it’s reviews weren’t that good and kinda flew under the radar when it released. Anyone recommend it for the time it takes to play?

I never played the first game, but I had this when it first came out and I really enjoyed it. It got me into the band Churches, who did the main theme for the game - CHVRCHES Warning Call.

This one is still enjoyable but things like quick turn you have to unlock later. To me the controls are more forgiving and it looks great. The environments aren't as diverse as the first game (loved the subway and that tall construction tower) and the challenges are a lot of fun. This is a good price for a Blu-ray copy (it has been £3.99 on Argos before but this is probably new old stock).

Recommend grabbing the free dynamic theme for a bit of Solar Fields on your home screen too.

I loved the first one and have played it many times since it's release on consoles and PC. The art style the music and the quite linear progression that never really felt restrictive but above all the world and its story.

The second one is a ubified open world collect radiotowers and shizzle. It got rid of nearly all that made the first one great and replaced it with mediocrity. It's not bad per se, I dare say a fair waste of time just not good let alone in comparison to it's earlier part.
