Soon to be another notch on the 20+ Dixon orders I've had cancelled on me

Here's a picture of the TV you have no chance in hell of getting for a quid :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

I've just tried with that code....It didn't take any money off - maybe they have already realised

Bet that did it on purpose to get free advertising on sites like hotukdeals.

Not that I'd normally buy from a high-street shop, just used them to check how things look. Back in 2000 was looking for a 32" widescreen toshiba. All the high-street stores had the old version for the same price (talk about competition on the high street ). Phoned up a mail-order company and got the newer version for a bit less. They were even selling the old version for HALF of what the high-street wanted. The UK high-street is a total rip-off. Not helped that half the electrical chains are part of the same group.

i think i started mine just before it was cancelled i await the ineviatable email anyway - you just never know got a cooker from comet once for 99p:-D

Seem to work with me.. fingers crossed

The code works if you untick the automatically added Scart Cable for £9.99, not that it matters, DSG will never honour this

yep about two years ago i think it was worth £699 - its got pride of place in my kitchen still it was a misprice only for about ten mins it just went through - got delivered - i said nothing - still havent - you never know:thumbsup:

I have a feeling TEAK is right, it's false and illegal advertising on their site for free PR and coverage, typical DSG disgusting techniques.
The sooner stores not allowed to advertise items they cannot honour or do not have in stock the better (this is the 21st century is it not, why is this so hard?)

processing now:giggle: :giggle:

It lets me untick the cable...

put it this way its just done my bacon to perfection:-D

ms01ma is literally 1 in a million though and hardly comparable, I myself have over 40 orders with Dixons, Currys and PCWorld all not honoured.

O dear, this thread has become a comic tragedy :P

worth a try
nothing to loose

this is the only one out of loads - especially from dsg - although the 179.99 core 360 + 4 games has just been delivered

totally agree have you ordered it will be good while it lasts

dixons group

Im not going to order myself as I have a fear dixons might try and process my order at full price, as they are often hopeless (hense misprice!)

But for those ordering I would try at checkout adding the 3 year warenty which adds £249.99 to the price and makes the order look more plausabe on there screens and may give more chance of delivery.

Yeah i think it has more chance, £1 is going to stand out!, but there are samsung screens at around £249 (15inch ones) so may not notice!

It accepted my order just fine. Remember to remove the scart cable from the page before you buy it, since it can't be done afterward.

Oh - and in best of HUKD tradition - remember to order via your Egg card, so you can save 5%.

40" LCD for £0.95p delivered. Lol!

Well, it's good for a Monday morning laugh :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

I can't even get it to check my area without it timing out

That adding the three year cover is quite a cunning plan.
Shame I dont have £250 to my name

Flippin eck, I forgot Quidco :-( :-(  :giggle: :giggle:

Worked for me. Didn't work in Firefox, but worked fine in IE.
