Certainly a misprice since it is only £1 more expensive than the 2.53Ghz model. Costs £1799 at Apple and far cheaper than anywhere else including Currys. (Intel Core i7, 4Gb RAM, 500Gb HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512 MB, SD card slot, Intel HD Graphics, up to 9 hour battery life).

good spot

Good find! That's cheaper than the HE discount!

Really its super hot but already have a macbook pro last years model... is it worth going form a 2.53ghz to a 2.66ghz?

Showing at £1868 for me, so maybe they fixed it.

that's a market place reseller, have a look on the right where you'll find amazon selling at above price. Good price for an apple product but way overpriced for the spec. Bought a sony z series a couple of months back for over £800 but the spec was unreal in comparison

underneath it says new and used from £1458.62. click on that and it shows Amazon as the seller.

Amazon don't honour misprices though

People always seem to get caught out by the different vendors on Amazon and post before double checking.

RRP: £1,799.00
Price: £1,458.62 & Free Delivery with Amazon Prime
You Save: £340.38 (19%)

Like ben1979 says, it's 'Usually dispatched within 1 to 3 months.' which means anyone buying it will shortly after get an email to say it's an error, no stock forthcoming, etc, and have their order cancelled.

Cheaper than the HE price but 3 years warranty evens it up.

Great deal though, I'm tempted to sell my first gen unibody MacBook Pro as I can put 8GB of RAM into this but I think I'll wait for the next major revision.

and so long as they don't take your money why should they?

Don't get your hopes up - this isn't a deal - it's a mis-price

there were about 7 in stock when I saw it before the shipping time changed to the '1 to 3 months' later

Extremely overpriced still! LOL

Misprice? Can't see any hot deal in it.

looks like a misprice to me; should'nt it be nearer £1100 tops ?

It is just incredible . Macs cost THAT much more than premium models of reputable manufacturers e.g.Toshiba or Sony and some people still foolishly take it as a good value for money? I would understand an extra £100 for exceptionally good marketing and nice design but making people to pay twice as much is just ridiculous. Do Tosh or Sony NOT make money on their laptops ?

Yes, It is a misprice - it should not cost more than £800-900

I am not a Mac- hater, just do not get the sick relationship between the company and the Mac owners , seems like a sect tome.
