Just gone for one of these, not many reviews but looks like a very good quality unit.

Launched at £500. Also at Selfridges but with £5 delivery.

BMR speaker system with sub for stunning sound quality
As you'd expect from this world-class speaker manufacturer, the Aero's speaker array is highly impressive. For a spacious, balanced sound, no fewer than six BMR speakers are used within the Aero. BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) drivers combine the advantages of both flat panel and conventional speakers. This means that, unlike some compact wireless speakers, the Aero is truly dynamic sounding and won't turn harsh or brittle when the music, film or gaming action gets intense.

Powerful bass
In addition to this BMR array you'll also find a dedicated subwoofer. Driven by its own amplifier, the 120mm cone gives the Aero a deep and dynamic sound that's a cut above many similar speaker systems. Powering these impressive speakers are punchy, digital amplifiers. These ensure precise and realistic sound quality yet also offer low power consumption.

Absolute 3D sound
Wireless speaker systems can offer great sound within a compact package. That compact packaging, however, can be problematical in terms of sound imaging or how spacious the sound ultimately is. In order to get around this, Mission has fitted the Aero with revolutionary Sonic Emotion Absolute 3D technology. This digital processor phases the speakers such that wherever you happen to be sitting in the room, you're assured an immersive stereo sound field. Combined with the powerful amp and speaker array, it's a key factor in making the Mission Aero one of the best sounding wireless speaker systems in its class.

Instantly connects to your phone, tablet or PC
The Mission Aero brings hi-fi sound to the wireless generation. Featuring a wide range of wireless connections, the Aero will work with just about any wireless music device. So, for example, if you've got an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch you can connect up with Apple AirPlay and stream your iTunes music collection straight to the speaker. Also standard is Bluetooth. This works with the vast majority of smartphones and tablets and supports apt-X for enhanced sound quality.

Wireless network connection
In addition to Apple AirPlay and Bluetooth, the Aero also connects to your home hub by Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can link up with DLNA compatible devices and let the music flow. Connect up to your PC, laptop or Mac, for example, and stream music files from your stored library or favourite music streaming service.

Optical and analogue inputs plus a HANDY USB charging socket
In addition to a full range of wireless connectivity, the Mission Aero is also comprehensively equipped for wired connections. With its optical input you can connect up your TV and use the Aero as a soundbar. The 3.5mm analogue input is ideal for TVs without an optical output or pretty much any music device with either a headphone output or line level out. Finally, for keeping your smartphone charged up, a USB charging socket is also fitted.

Sumptuous finish
With its sleek aluminium sleeve, weighty casing and smooth styling, the Mission Aero doesn't just sound good it looks great, too. Few others at this price can manage the same combination of quality materials and curvaceous styling quite so well.

For a wireless speaker that's a cut above the rest, the Mission Aero deserves to be on your shortlist.

Thank you for this deal!
Although they had sold out online, I managed to pick one up from my local shop. What fantastic sound quality! I think it'll finally be time to say goodbye to my 8 year old KEF sound system.

Glad it helped.
The code SELFCCE take £20 off the Selfridges price making it £184.99 delivered. Quidco gives another £13.33 cashback....total price £171.66, ordered one last night.
I picked last one up at Swiss Cottage last night, after waiting 20 mins for this guy haggling over a tv that was already discounted, then telling the Sales guy to make sure the courier don’t damage or drop his TV.

Hooked up an paired with some 10yr old Mission floor standers at 8am this morning and me and the kids having a little dance off!

I got mine yesterday. I agree, music sounds awesome. I wondered what you thought to speech though as it sounds much tinnier than our last soundbar (via optical)? The 3D option sounds muffled to me so I'm not keen on using that.
How are you finding it a year on, do you still enjoy it?
