Can this replace a 3 wire analogue hall stat?

By 3 wire, I presume you have 3 wires coming through the wall into the current thermostat...
    - Neutral
    - Live
    - Switched Live going to the boiler

That's what I have on my Potterton PRT2 thermostat.
My current thermostat (shown on the left of this image) is simply switching Live to the HEATING output, which goes to the boiler with a black wire with a red sleeve. The boiler has its own Neutral.

My GUESS is that this is compatible and should be wired up as below.
Placing the three incoming wires to the new Meross as shown

    - Neutral to 1 (N)
    - Live to 2 (L) and also 5 (COM)
    - Heating to 3 (NO Normally Open, switched Live when heating required)

Disclaimer - I am not an electrician, and would appreciate feedback from any sparkies here to see if this is correct.
Please do NOT follow the wiring in this image unless you are sure it is correct!

Update - I have now received mine and installed at as per the wiring above. All working fine, no problems with WiFi connection, and working nicely with Google Home etc.

Can this control hot water too?

It's for a combi boiler, so not designed for a hot water tank if that's what you are asking

Sorry......so this works with android too?

Can I just replace the existing wired and powered thermostat with this?

Is it as easy as that? Can't seem to find answers in the Q&A's all 108 of them.

    Cheers to all

Guessing that this only works with wired thermostats? All my family’s are stand-alone units not connected to wall wiring. Am I right in thinking that this won’t be compatible?
