I've seen these in loads of stores but they aren't available online. A tray of a dozen full size ring doughnuts with various flavoured toppings (although each tray has the same toppings) and sprinkles, from from the in store bakery.

tesco is 10 for 100p

Tesco aren't in Sainsbury's league when it comes to doughnuts. Worst are Morrisons/Asda/Greggs - but Sainsburys are de-lish.

No good being cheaper if they ain't edible.

I have to agree with the ASDA doughnuts being bad!!

I've been tempted by these in the past. If I see these on my next visit I will pick them up and take the long walk of shame to the checkout using the "For my son" excuse.

But... if you don't buy them... you wont have to eat them.. and wont have to exercise the fat away..
Still, does look like a bargain

But waitrose beats them all. Mmmm...

Waitrose is the best full stop.

but..... but..... surely its worth paying nearly £2 for one krispy kreme over these........................

Good price for iced donuts. Can't beat Krispy Kreme but they are very expensive. Made the mistake of buying Asda donuts this week - 12 for £1 but really horrible, don't even taste like donuts.

this isnt a deal, these are always at £2

we have been buying these at £2 for about a year in our local sainsburys

These are all thawed out frozen goods.

I don't think something has to be on "special offer" to be classed as a deal. Anything where you are getting good value for money counts in my book

For what kind, though?

I got 10 sugar ring doughnuts from Asda for £1 last week. They were great for 10p each, but must have been put in the plastic bag when they were still warm (and steaming) because they were all damp with condensation. But this made me put them in oven in an attempt to dry them out, and the resulting warmth with a bit of slight moisture made them taste as though they'd just been made. So overall, a win.

But these are iced/flavoured doughnuts, so 12 for £2 is a good price for that many. I'm a sucker for Morrisons doughnuts - they're always great when fresh, but any left over the next morning are inedible, which always reminds me how bad they really are.

HOT!

I have eaten 6 of these, given 5 to colleagues at work, and am saving one for you-know-what....

I think it is a deal because it is cheap. I don't know if it's hot though because it isn't very new. I expect the deals here to be cutting-edge and daring. That is the brilliance of this website. Of course we can all update our spreadsheets detailing the relevant prices for major foodstuffs at all leading supermarkets, but we use these websites to snap up those once-a-year offerings which can really make-or-break your week.

Then again, I would consider myself something of an 'expert' in finding the best (regular) deals out there. Ask me the price of a pint of milk and quick as a flash I can reel off the prices at the 8 top high-street supermarkets! However there are some noobies who may find this type of information interesting.

What the others said Waitrose are much better. They are lesssynthetic.

No words have three s's in a row together unless there is an apostrophe between them like "He admired the goddess's power".

I think he missed out the space...

Morrisons is 10 filled for £1 or 12 sugar rings for £1.
So potentially 24 for £2
