This oil is not suitable for many modern engines. It is not designed to be used in units that are turbocharged or have DPF's fitted.
Not much detail @ Asda for this semi synthetic oil, so I have linked to Mobil's info.

Mobil themselves state:

"Mobil Super 2000 products are formulated to give you confidence of protection beyond that of conventional oils. We particularly recommend it for the following vehicle types and conditions:

Latest engine technologies
Gasoline and Diesel
Passenger cars, SUV’s, light trucks and vans
Highway cruising
Normal to occasionally severe operating conditions
Turbo-Chargers..."

I'd not use it in my cars due to driving them like I stolen them but for boring driving it'll be fine, just don't expect it to perform like Castrol Edge Ti
You'll probably find a Comma X-Flow or Triple QX fully synthetic oil for the same money at a local motor factor and Eurocarparts respectively in case you want a more durable oil than this semi synthetic
I had a flyer through at work with this offer on again via Parts Alliance group.. garagewire.co.uk/off…ce/
Good if you like to stock up (They do 199 litre also)

Who said anything about driving like an idiot? I like to use my revs to keep my cats free from soot. I'm also very familiar with turbocharged vehicles on track and road. You're the one with a BMW and they don't even feature indicators

Because one can feel and hear a difference in the engine's performance and sound, I'd like to think most people can really
