This has been a good deal that I have found at various places in the past for £4.99. But after this price drop to £2.99 this is a very good deal for 1GB (limited to 30 days) of data.

Simply pop the sim in an unlocked or three device and enjoy 1GB of mobile data.

Limited to 2 per order. (Free delivery or in store pickup).

Thx OP, the 3gb used to be about £10-£11 on Amazon but has rocketed up to around £20 recently so ordered two of these instead, it's only really for emergency use. Heat added

Same here I ordered 2. I have found Three to have much better 3G coverage than O2 that I am currently on. So I use this sim in a mifi when I travel out of town (O2 only has 3G coverage in my town), 5mins out of town I only get 2G on O2 but Three is 3G or no coverage.

They have the micro sim and nano sim too at the same price....So ordered a couple of the nano sims

Hot thanks op

normal sim oos for home delivery

Reserved 2, thanks OP !

Reserved 2 this morning, got phone call from bolton middlebrook warehouse team telling me they couldnt find any!

can these be used to make calls or is it a data only sim?

Can these be used in iPad?

would you say this is the cheapest option to get data on my tablet?

If you buy these, and dont insert into a mobile - how long before they expire?

I have a sim card in a remote security camera that sends me emails when the camera is triggered, would I be able to just insert this sim and use the data allowance to do that or do I need a handset to activate it first? My phone uses a nano sim and camera a standard sim so activation isn't possible

CrispEditor - They expire after the 1gb is used or after 30 days, whichever is sooner

Endgame, I am not sure this would be ideal, as it would only last 30 days before you would have to replace it

To get 1GB for 1 month according to me yes. That is why I posted the deal. £3 is a good price for 1GB. If you plan to use this ongoing by topping up you should do some research. For ongoing unlimited data I think the one plan from Three is a good option at £23/pm on a 30 day rolling contract.

Can you teether on this?

okay thanks, shame its 30 day =/ but i guess 3 a month is good.

surely the 12.90 deal @ 3 for unlimited data on 30 contract is better?

That's for phones only. If you use the SIM in a dongle, tablet etc they will cut it off.

Three's MBB is £7.50/mo for 1GB, £15/mo for 15GB on a 30 day term. They also have a hidden pack that you can get by phoning the - £8/month for 5GB on a 12 month contract.

Yes it is unless you also want to use it tethered (connecting a computer also). I prefer to have a package that allows tethering.

I do, so yes you can. To my knowledge they only cut you off if you are on an unlimited data plan that says no tethering.

They can tell by the IMEI number.

Thanks. Ordered.

Many Thanks

Thank you Orcinus_orca. Makes sense.Still a good deal. Does anyone know what happens to these phone numbers - do they reuse them, e.g. after 6m of non-use (if you throw away the card).

Actually - another question - when does the 30d *start*? From time of first use, or the time of first activation?

Thanks OP..

You can get a free sim from SambaMobile and top it up for free if you "watch" adverts.

not so good for video but for increasing data allowance
Opera Max for android is worth down loading

Thanks for the heads up op.I just bought a ee 6 Gb pre loaded sim (three month) and I can't register it ,what a faf its going back.3 is the daddy so shall buy some tomorrow. Hot.

These come up for this price every couple of months. I always buy them to use in my iPad Mini and have a little stockpile. Way cheaper than standard PAYG pricing (and contract!)

Excellent price - don't forget these work with 4G as well as 3G

this would be a great deal if there were any available north of Perth!

Nice if it were true. The 321 plan from Three which is pure pay as you go also instantly cuts off tethering or tablet use.

And with Samba can top up via Paypal in smaller flexible increments like 250mb/500mb.

This deal is not avail for home delivery and OOS as nearly all branches. Nice post but time to expire it?

Nope, it's in stock in my area and I'm sure many others.

can you use these aboard like other three sims?

I'm new on the 321 price plan after being with Ovivo for 12 months.
Last month I bought an all you can eat bundle and have been tethering it ever since without any problems through my Moto g to a nexus 7.
I've used 5GB data in one month and the speeds are tremendous compared to Ovivos
